The two technologies helped to make the virtual picture of Li true and achieved a perfect match with the 12 world. People could see the poet walking in the local street, 13 high in the night sky and standing on the top of ancient buildings saying 14 famous line from a poem “the water of the Yellow River comes from the sky”. 15 the show, people also sang poems together with Li Bai.
In a performance called “Koi Fish (锦鲤)”, with the technology system of XR, the whole hall was made into a world under the water. For people, it seemed that 16 were moving in the water. Besides, 17 they danced like fish swimming in the water, people could see the water moving under their feet, and the water 18 shapes and positions with their steps. The special effects (效果), which are almost 19 to be seen on traditional stages (舞台), can be realized by special machines worn by performers now. After these machines collected and sent the 20 about the positions to other machines, they would create special effects according to that.
The 2024 Spring Festival Gala gave people a 21 experience. It breaks through the limits of traditional stage art and shows the possible development directions and 22 of future shows on the stage. In the future, this technology may be 23 used in stage performances. People will see more colorful performances.

When it comes to science fiction, many people will think of Isaac Asimov. Over the course of his 72-year life, he won many science fiction awards.
Asimov was born in 1920 in Russia. When he was three years old, he moved to New York with his family. Asimov’s father managed to buy a candy store to make a living there. It turned out that this decision had a big influence on Asimov’s future.
As a child, Asimov worked long hours in the store. Over time, he noticed that the sci-fi magazines kept drawing customers in. There were stories about things like aliens (外星人) in them. Asimov became interested in them. His father, however, told him not to waste time reading about the things that “do not exist (存在) and never will”.
His father’s words didn’t kill Asimov’s love for science fiction. He continued to read those magazines secretly. Seeing Asimovs persistence (坚持不懈) in reading, his father gave him a library card. The boy became a regular visitor to the Brooklyn Public Library. As Asimov once wrote, “I can never be thankful enough that I chose to walk into that library and made the most of it.”
In 1942, Asimov, who was crazy about historical novels, decided to write one himself. He thought, “I can create a piece of history, and then write a science fiction novel based on it—a science fiction novel that reads like a historical novel.” The work that was born from this idea was the later Foundation Trilogy. With this work, Asimov became one of the most famous science fiction writers in the world.

The canteen also offers a special discount (折扣) for students who show their student ID cards. Fang said she often saw students from nearby schools and universities enjoying their meals there. She thinks it is a good way for students to save money and eat healthily.
A canteen at the Zhanongkou Community in Zhejiang Province recently introduced “happiness blind boxes”. They cost just 6 yuan but have one meat dish and a vegetable dish. To keep what’s insi de each box a surprise, stickers (贴纸) are placed over the see-through top to cover the “main dish”. The “blind boxes” often sell out very quickly.
One canteen in Beijing even introduced self-service meals. The self-service dishes there are priced at just 2.48 yuan per 100 grams. The price is lower than that at the nearby restaurants. When the seasons change between winter and spring, many of us get sick with colds, flu, or other illnesses. These illnesses not only make us feel physically uncomfortable, but they can also influence our emotions (情绪), making us feel sad and worried. But why does this happen?
The answer has something to do with our immune (免疫的) system. When we get sick, our immune cells (免疫细胞) start to fight the illness. To do this, they send messages to other parts of our body, including our brain.
When these messages reach our brain, they can change how we feel and act. We might lose interest in the things that we usually enjoy, prefer to be alone and feel tired and hungry. We might also be more sensitive (敏感的) to bad things. ___________
This means that when we are sick, not only does the illness itself make us feel bad, but also our immune system reacts to it. This is a new discovery that helps us understand the connection between our physical and emotional health.
To find it, scientists did an experiment. They made people feel sick without causing them any diseases in fact. This helped them understand how people react when they feel sick, even if they don’t have any actual illnesses. The results showed that these people felt the same way as people who were really ill—sad and worried.
This experiment shows that it’s our immune system that causes us to feel this way when we are sick. It’s important to remember this fact when we or our friends are feeling uncomfortable. We need to be patient, understanding, and help each other deal with these terrible feelings. 48.Why does sickness often influence people’s feelings?
A.Because people feel upset about bad things.
B.Because people are afraid of illnesses.
C.Because people are worried about their health.
D.Because the immune cells send messages to their brain.

A.The best way to treat a cold or flu. B.The benefits of keeping a healthy diet.
