The Snow Queen
Once upon a time there was an evil troll who was angered and cursed two children who were walking by. One of the children, a young girl, was cursed to feel no love or warmth in her heart, while the other, a young boy, was cursed to only feel love and warmth in his.
The girl was named Snow White, and the boy was called Kai. Years later, Snow White had grown up to be a beautiful young woman, but with a cold heart. Kai, on the other hand, had grown into a kind and gentle young man.
One day, Snow White and Kai went out for a walk in the woods. As they walked, the wind started to blow and soon enough it had turned into a snow storm. Snow White accepted the storm as something natural, but Kai was scared. Snow White was about to reassure him when out of nowhere, a figure appeared in the middle of the snow.
It was the Snow Queen. She was a beautiful woman, with long white hair and eyes as blue as ice. She had a long white dress that trailed behind her, and a crown of snow and ice. Snow White was frozen in fear as the Snow Queen approached them.
The Snow Queen spoke in a gentle voice, saying that she
understood their plight and could help them. Snow White didn't believe the Snow Queen, but Kai was open to her offer. The Snow Queen then gave them a quest: they must find four magical objects that were hidden in the kingdom—a mirror, a heart, a feather, and a key.
The Snow Queen then told them that they must find these objects in order to break the curse and restore their hearts. Snow White and Kai accepted the quest and began their search. For days they searched, but they couldn't find the four objects. Eventually, they came to a castle in the middle of the forest. There, after a long search, they found the mirror, heart, feather, and key.
With the objects found, Snow White and Kai returned to the Snow Queen. She cast a spell over the four objects and then told Snow White to look into the mirror. When she did, she saw her own reflection, but also the reflection of her frozen heart. The Snow Queen then said some words of magic, and Snow White's heart began to thaw. Kai's heart also began to thaw, and they both felt something they had been missing for so long —love and warmth.
Afterwards, Snow White and Kai returned to their kingdom. They shared their story and soon enough everyone was talking
about the Snow Queen and her magical quest.
And ever since then, whenever the snow blankets the world, children tell stories of the kind Snow Queen, and the two brave children who found love and warmth in the coldest of places.。
