学生对语句的运用能力很好,但对西方文化的知识储备可能很少,需要通过本课的教学丰富学生的餐厅用语,同时了解西方的就餐文化。学生通过参与各种课堂活动建立对话的自信心,敢于用英语在餐厅点餐,了解制作过程和方法。
四、教学策略选择与设计
本单元的内容是了解饭肴制作,是通过听与说的训练,使学生熟练掌握与就餐相关的单词、短语、以及个别句式,提升学生的语言运用能力为对话积累素材。运用游戏,竞赛,情境设置与小组合作等方式促使学生能够灵活运用就餐语言。通过多种课堂活动让学生了解西方就餐文化,并学会为自己的餐厅制作宣传菜单并为之进行宣传。

一、教学内容分析
本课是EEC教材初三下册第五单元复习课,课题是《动物帮助人类》,本单元第一课是听说课,重点培养学生的听力和对话运用能力,本课是以餐厅就餐对话为主体。第二课是阅读课,重点培养学生阅读语篇的能力,各种米饭的制作方法。第三课是语法不定代词。第四课以就餐和饭肴的制作过程为主线进行写作。
