学生对语句的运用能力很好，但对西方文化的知识储备可能很少，需要通过本课的教学丰富学生的餐厅用语，同时了解西方的就餐文化。学生通过参与各种课堂活动建立对话的自信心，敢于用英语在餐厅点餐，了解制作过程和方法。
四、教学策略选择与设计
本单元的内容是了解饭肴制作，是通过听与说的训练，使学生熟练掌握与就餐相关的单词、短语、以及个别句式，提升学生的语言运用能力为对话积累素材。运用游戏，竞赛，情境设置与小组合作等方式促使学生能够灵活运用就餐语言。通过多种课堂活动让学生了解西方就餐文化，并学会为自己的餐厅制作宣传菜单并为之进行宣传。
