学生成绩由学习态度决定英语作文
My Grades Depend on How I Feel About Learning
Hi there! My name is Emily, and I'm in the 5th grade. Today, I want to tell you all about how my grades are affected by my attitude towards learning. It's something I've noticed over the years, and I think it's really important for all students to understand.
You see, when I first started school, I didn't really care much about my grades. I just wanted to have fun and play with my friends during recess. I didn't pay much attention in class, and I often forgot to do my homework. My parents would get upset with me, but I didn't understand why they were making such a big deal out of it.
Because of my bad attitude towards learning, my grades suffered. I was getting C's and D's on most of my assignments and tests. My teachers would try to encourage me to work harder, but I just didn't see the point. I thought school was boring, and I couldn't wait to go home and play video games.
However, everything changed in the 3rd grade. That's when my teacher, Mrs. Johnson, sat me down and explained to me how important it was to have a good attitude towards learning. She
told me that if I didn't take my education seriously, I would struggle in the future. She said that the things I was learning in school would help me get a good job and live a happy life when I grew up.
At first, I didn't really believe her. But then she gave me an example that really stuck with me. She said that if I wanted to become a video game designer when I grew up, I would need to have a strong understanding of math, science, and computer programming. And the only way to learn those things was to pay attention in class and work hard on my assignments.
That's when it clicked for me. I realized that if I wanted to achieve my dreams, I needed to change my attitude towards learning. From that day on, I made a conscious effort to be more engaged in class. I started raising my hand to answer questions, and I made sure to do all of my homework on time.
The change in my attitude towards learning was like night and day. Suddenly, everything made sense, and I found myself actually enjoying school. My grades started to improve, and I was getting A's and B's on most of my assignments.
But it wasn't just my grades that improved. I also found that I was retaining the information better and was able to apply what I learned to real-life situations. For example, when my parents
were trying to figure out how much money to save for a family vacation, I was able to use the math skills I learned in school to help them calculate the costs.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that having a positive attitude towards learning is just as important as the actual learning itself. If you go into class with a negative attitude and don't care about what you're learning, you're not going to retain the information or do well on your assignments.
On the other hand, if you have a positive attitude and are excited to learn new things, you'll find that the material is much easier to understand and remember. You'll also be more motivated to put in the effort required to do well in school.
Another thing I've learned is that it's okay to ask for help when you need it. Whether it's from your teachers, parents, or classmates, there's no shame in admitting that you're struggling with something. In fact, asking for help is a sign of strength and a willingness to learn.
Overall, I'm so grateful that I was able to change my attitude towards learning when I did. It's made such a huge difference in my academic performance and my overall enjoyment of school. I know that as long as I maintain a positive attitude and keep
working hard, I'll be able to achieve my dreams and succeed in whatever I choose to do.
So, to all my fellow students out there, I encourage you to take a good look at your attitude towards learning. If you're struggling in school, it might be because you don't have the right mindset. Remember, your grades depend on how you feel about learning. If you have a positive attitude and are excited to learn new things, you'll be amazed at how much you can achieve.
Thanks for reading, and good luck with your studies!。
