教学设计
Unit 2 Last weekend B Read and
write
一、教学目标
知识和能力目标:
1.学生能够通过free talk 和pre-reading 这个环节回忆相关背景知识及话题词汇。

2.学生能够在文段中寻找关键信息。

3.学生能够找出文段中的动词,并写出动词的原形和过去式。

4.能够根据Wu Yifan 写的comment,归纳出可以从哪些方面去写comment。

二、学情分析
学生是六年级的学生,经过一个学期,学生对新版教材的架构已经比较熟悉。

Read and write 这一板块在以前的教材也有,相信学生对阅读教学的一些技巧和策略都有一定的掌握。

孩子们在生活经历方面,部分学生有过住酒店的经历,但是基本上没有填写评价的经历。

三、重点难点
教学重点:
1.学生能读懂文段的大意,找出关键信息。

2.学生能找出文段中的动词,并写出动词原形和动词过去式。

3.了解comment 的用法,以及可以从哪些方面去写comment.
教学难点:
1.动词过去式的归纳。

2.学生能根据投诉的信息给出回复。

ment 这个词的概念理解以及什么情况下可以写comment.
四、教学过程
活动1【导入】Pre-reading
1、Warm-up
Free-talk
Hi,children.What’s your name?What do you often do on your weekend?
What’s your hobby?Did you…?What did you last weekend? How was your weekend?
设计意图:通过轻松的对话,激发学生关于weekend 的知识。

2、Introduce teacher’s last weekend.
T:Do you know my hobby?
Ss :No.
T :Don’t worry.Look at some pictures and guess what’s my hobby?Let’s see.
T:What’s my hobby?
S:You like taking a trip.
T:Yes,I like taking a trip.I often take a trip in the holiday and on the st weekend,I took a trip.
T:Do you know ?Where did I go?Which hotel did I stay?How was the hotel? How did I feel?
S:No.
T:Don’t worry.I will show you a video about my trip.Try to watch carefully.
(1)T:Where did I go?
S1:You went to Wang Xizhi’s former residence.
T:Where does Wang Xinzhi come from?
S:He comes from Linyi.
T:Yes,He's famous for his calligraphy.(handwriting)
T:So I went to Linyi.
(2)Which hotel did I stay?
S:TAO RAN JU Hotel.
T:Yes,I stayed inTAO RAN JU Hotel.
(3)How was the hotel? S:
It was big and beautiful.
T:What else?
S:It was very clean.
T:Who helped to clean the room?
S:Housekeeper.
T:What did she do?
S: She made the bed and cleaned the rooms in the hotel. T:How did the food taste?
S:The food tasted good.
(4)How did I feel?
T:Yes,I had a good time.
So,I wrote the comment before I went home. Look,I give a comment to the hotel.
(1)For the location ,how many stars did I cirle ?S:Four stars.
(2)For the room,how many stars did I cirle?S:Five stars.
(3)For the facilities,how many stars did I cirle?S:Five stars.
(4)For the food and drinks,how many stars did I cirle?S:Five stars.
So,totally,I cirle good.
设计意图:通过看图片,预测老师上个周末的活动,并通过问题激活学生原有的关于过去式的知识以及住酒店的生活经历,为本节课的阅读课学习做好知识和生活背景铺垫。

活动2【导入】While-reading
T:Who is he? S:He is Wu Yifan.
T:Wu Yifan took a trip last weekend, too. He stayed in Holiday Hotel. This is the housekeeper Mrs Broom in the hotel. She made the bed and cleaned the rooms in the hotel. What was the hotel like?
T:Was bad or beautiful? How about the room? How about the food?
How about the others?.....
S:I think the food was tasted and healthy.
T:Good idea.What’s your idea?
S:May be the room was big.
T:What about you?
S:May be the food was delicious.
T:What do you think?
S:May be the food was bad and not healthy.
T:I don’t know either.
1 、The first reading. Try to find out Which one did Wu Yifan circle.
设计意图:通过预测,然后进行整体阅读,判断出他做出了bad 的评价,激发孩子们阅读的兴趣。

At last Wu Yifan also wrote a comment.Will he choose “Good、Average or bad ?We don’t know.Now let’s read the book together.Are you ok?
S:OK.
T:Turn to page 18. Let’s listen to the passage together .Are you ready?
S:Yes!
T:Let’s go.
T:Which one did Wu Yifan cirle?
S:Cirle “Bad”.
T:Look at me please.Why did Wu Y ifan cirle bad?
S:Our weekend at your hotel was bad.
T:What else? Your please.Did Wu Yifan enjoy his stay in the hotel?
S:No.I’m sorry, but we didn’t enjoy our stay very much.
2 、The second reading: Please read and find out the sentences that describe the pictures.
T:Let’s look at some pictures,ok?
S:Ok.
T:This is the room .The chair is broken.This is Wu Yifan’s dad and mom.Look at dad and mom.Look at TV.Look at Wu Yifan. T:Would you please read your book and then try to find the sentences that describe picture 1 to 3.

T:Pay attention to the pronuciation of air-conditioner.Is the air-conditioner good or broken ?

S:My mother wanted to read a book but the lamp was too small.
T:What else?
S:My dad got some hamburgers from the hotel kitchen, but they were cold and tasted bad.
T:Let’s read together one two go!Did mom wantto read the book?
S:Yes!Could she read the book?
S:No.
T:Why not?
S:The lamp was too small.
T:Look at the lamp.The lamp was too small.
How about this one?The lamp was very big.
When we wanted to read a book which lamp do we choose? S:The big one.
T:Why don’t we choose small one?
S:Because it’s very bad for our eyes.
T:Dad was hungry. What did he get from the kitchen?
S:Hamburgers.How did they taste?tasted good or tasted bad T:What do you think of the food?
S:The food was bad.
T:So we can say the food tasted bad.What else?
S:Maybe the food was not f resh.
T:What else?
S:The food was not delicious.
T:The food didn’t taste delicious.
S:Maybe the food was cold.
T:The food tasted cold.
T:Look at these foods.What do you think of ?
S:The foods were tasty.
T:So we can say the food tasted good.What’s your idea?

S:I wanted to watch TV but the TV didn’t work. The people in Room 301 listened to loud music. I didn’t sleep all night.

T:What did Wu Yifan want to do?
S:He wanted to watch TV.
T:What’s the matter with the TV?
S:The TV didn’t work.
T:So could Wu Yifan watch TV?
S:No ,he coudn’t.
T:Look here,what did they do?
S:They fixed broken the air-conditioner.
T:Who fixed broken the air-conditioner?
S:Workers.
T:Is the air-condition good or broken?
S:Broken air-condition.
T:Wu Yifan didn’t watch TV.So he wanted to sleep.Could he sleep?(S:No)Why?
S:The people in Room 301 listened to loud music.
T:What is loud music? It’s quiet or noisy?
S:It’s very noisy.
T:Let’s listen to the music.

S:Of course./Sure/Yes.
T:I like this kind of music very much.I like music too.
T:Boys and girls ,let’s imagine.It’s12o’clock in the midnight.You want to sleep.Oh,no.The people next to you play this music.Do you like the music?How do you feel?
S:No,I feel angry. T:Why?
S:Because I want to sleep.The people play loud music.It’s very noisy. So how did Wu Yifan feel?
S:He felt angry.
3、Follow the tape and read the passage.
设计意图:细读,能够从文本中找到关键信息。

通过问题,进一步了解文本的细节,并解决文本当中比较难理解的词。

并通过跟读、全班齐读和引导学生体会文中的语气,有感情地朗读。

活动3【活动】Post-reading
1、T:Do you have any questions about the passage? (customer, comment---complaint letter)But I have two questions for you.
T:What is customer?Do you know?
S:顾客。

T:Wu Yifan wrote a comment .What is comment?
S:意见,评议。

2、Look at Wu Yifan’s comments. What aspects did he write? Talk in groups.(Retell the passage)
3、Where and when can you write the comments?
S:We can write comment when we stay in a hotel/ buy sth. from the internet,/have meals in a restaurant /go to the bank.
4、Group the verbs past tense and present tense.
T:Boys and girls,when did Wu Yifan stay in the hotel?
S:Last weekend.
T:It about now or past?
S:Past.
T:So,he used the past tense when he wrote the comment .Would you please open your book? Cirle past tense.Be quick.
5、Find out the past tense of the verbs in the text.
T:When you finish,talk with your parterner.
6、Read and finish the letter.
设计意图:通过讨论,让学生归纳写comment 可以从哪几个方面去写。

同时让学生练习生活中什么时候会需要写comment. 此外,动词过去式无论是动词形式还是读音对于学生来说都是一个难点,在刚刚学生的时候,我们一定要慢慢引导学生自己去发现、自己去归纳,在这个过程
中慢慢地发现规律,学生自己的意会比老师的言传更重要。

活动4【提升】production
1 、Two years later ,Wu Yifan and his family stayed in the holiday hotel again.What happened?
2、So please enjoy every day of the lives.
