教学设计
一、教材分析:
本课为鲁教版六年级下册教材Unit 4 Section A第二课时,本单元的中心话题为时间表达,频度副词使用,利用时间谈论人的生活轨迹,练习一般现在时态中第三人称单数用法,是一节读、说课。

本单元与学生生活结合紧密,是学生学习阶段不可或缺的一个单元,在整个六年级阶段起到了举足轻重的作用。

二、学情分析:
六年级的学生通过小学三年和初中半年的英语学习,已经具备一定的英语基础,但两极分化较为严重。

部分较好的同学已经掌握了大量词汇和语法,具有较好的听说读写的能力; 也有部分同学基础较差,听说读写能力都有待大幅提高。

在教学中应注意保护学生学习积极性,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

本单元话题是大家熟悉的时间应用,比较容易激发学生的学习兴趣的话题。

三、教学目标:
1.知识目标:掌握always, usually and never等重要频度副词的用法。

2.能力目标: 提英语读、说技能; 能够熟练使用问答时间的句子,应用到生活中去。

3.情感目标:合理安排自己的时间,做一个节约时间的聪明人。

四、教学重难点:
1.教学重点:
1) 学习掌握always, usually and never等重要频度副词的用法。

2) 学习掌握下列重点句式的运用:
--What time is it?
--It’s ….
--When does Scott go to work?
--He always goes to work at eleven o’clock. He’s never late.
2. 教学难点:运用所学频度副词来结合日常生活,进行读、说问答。

五、教学策略:任务教学法,情景教学法
六、教学过程:
Before class:
1)Students use the clock to practice the time reading by themselves.
2)Review the words of Section A.
Teaching steps:
Step1: Warming up
Greeting.
Smiling faces contest.
【设计意图】:营造氛围——利用笑脸激励活动,调动学生的学习积极性,踊跃参与到课堂教学活动中来。

Step2:Revision
1.Review the phrases :go to school ,brush teeth ,get up, eat breakfast ,take
a shower ,get dressed.
Match the phrases with the right pictures .
e the pictures of the clock to ask and answer in pairs.
What time is it?
It’s ….
3.Take out the clock, change your time freely,ask and answer in pairs. 【设计意图】:复习巩固——这个环节是复习导入环节,结合学生现实生活,回顾课本上一个课时中的重点和难点,对上一节课的内容进行复习巩固,并为本课时后面的环节学习做好铺垫。

Step3: Presentation
(1)Jack’s day:
Introduce something about Jack:
I have a pen pal, Jack. Shall we come to see his daily activities?
Match the activities with proper time of the day.
Ask and answer in pairs like this:
- What time does Jack usually get up?
-- He usually gets up at 7:00 o’clock.
Check together:
1-- What time does Jack usually get up?
-- He usually gets up at 7:00 o’clock.
2—What time does Jack go to school?
-- He always goes to school at 7:50. He’s never late.
3—When does Jack have lunch?
-- He usually has lunch at 12:00 o’clock.
4-- When does Jack go to bed?
-- He usually goes to bed at 10:00 o’clock
First, Pay attention to what time and when, they are used to make sentences. Then, pay attention to does and goes, the verb form of the third person and the preposition ‘at’ before the time.
Try to ask and answer according to Jack’s day in groups one by one for chain drill. A—B B—C C—D D--A
Then act it out in front of the class.
【设计意图】:小试牛刀——该环节是利用Jack’s day为载体,让学生对各种时间的表达方式掌握熟练,并能针对一天生活轨迹进行熟练地问、答,说、练等有关的英语训练,期间穿插着时间的语法规则,并对一般现在时态的单三形式进行有效的问答练习。

从而顺利完成学生课堂英语语言的输入任务。

(2)A beautiful song “Round the clock”
【设计意图】:激发兴趣——结合本课的学习内容的歌曲,配有动画视频,学生喜闻乐见,缓解学生课堂学习压力和紧张气氛,进一步激发学生的学习动力和兴趣。

(3)Grammar focus:
Show the grammar about the time:
Leading by the head of the group, learning together, ask and answer one by one.
1) 直读式,即直接读出时间数字

2) 过、差式,即几点差几分,几点过
几分(以30分为分界线)
1:25 twenty-five past one

3) 15分可用quarter

5:45 a quarter to six
4) 时间前通常用at
at 5 o’clock
at 7:30 p.m.

【设计意图】:语法聚焦——该环节是对时间的语法规则灵活展现,让学生心中形成整体概念,从而顺利完成学生的语法学习任务。

Step4: Work on 3a.
The adverbs of frequency:
usually是副词。

意为通常。

它是频率副词,一般放在助动词、情态动词之后,实义动词之前。

For example:
We usually have four classes in the morning. When do you usually get up? 你通常什么时候起床? 常用的频率副词及动作发生的频率为:
always(总是,一直)100%,usually(通常)80% often(经常)约60% sometimes(有时)20% never(从不)0%
(1)Read and remember the adverbs ,know clearly about their Chinese meaning and where to use them. Try to do by the students themselves.
(2)3a,on page 21,write answers or questions. Use always , usually or never . Three only .
(3)Check each other then ask and answer in pairs.
【设计意图】:步步为营——对频度副词知识进一步复习,让学生熟记语法知识。

拓展练习,根据课本设置的内容进行删减,将频度副词练习的3C 调整为作业,让学生利用课余时间,进一步练习其在句子里的具体应用。

从而提高课堂上学生自己学习和练习的时间和效率。

充足的输入,更有利于学生进行目标语言的输出。

对于频度副词的重点强调和训练,为下一步的复述课文打好基础。

Step5 A reporter game:

【设计意图】:成果展示——学生自己总结所学成果,巩固强化了重点词汇和句型;思维导图的运用,使故事叙述的环节一目了然,简单好记;有利于学生的扩散思维的展开,提高学习效率。
