教学目标
1、复习序数词,以及口语中日期的表示方法。

2、学习掌握句式When is ? It is .
3、能力目标:了解怎样用英语表示新年、春节、国际劳动节、教师节、儿童节、国庆节等节日。

4、情感目标:通过学习培养学生自主学习与团结合作精神,及其学生学习英语的兴趣。

重点难点
重点:正确使用句型When is ......? It’s...进行问答。

难点:节日的表达。

教学准备
日历、单词卡片、节日图片、
教学设计
Step 1:Warming up
1、Greeting
2、Chant:1,2,3特殊记,th从4起;8加h,9去e;拿来f代ve,ty变成tie。

Step2: Presentation
1.教授“When is...? It’s...”
利用日历演示:When is it ? 指着今天的日期,引导学生进行对话。

T:When is it ?
Ss:一月一日
T:Yes , today is January the first.
学生模仿练习。

2.介绍节日
教师指着六月一日向学生提问,引出儿童节Children’s Day ,然后合上日历提问学生:When is Children’s Day ?引导学生回答:It is June the first .
具体方法
1、教师展示PPT中关于节日的图片,然后说what ’s this in Chinese ?然后教师再说,how to speak in English?Let’s learn it now.
T:When is the Teachers’ Day ?
Ss:September the tenth.
领读:Teachers’ Day is September the tenth.
T:When is New Year’s Day?
Ss:It’s January the first.
领读:New Year’s Day is January the first.
T:When is Children’s Day?
Ss: It’s June the first.
领读:Children’s Day is June the first.
Step3:Practice
1、同桌之间互相练习
2、小组之间互相练习
3、让学生听录音,跟读,模仿语音、语调。

4、上台表演
