The 1xN Planar Lightwave Circuits (PLC) Optical Splitters are high performance, reliable and compact devices for splitting optical power,
specifically designed to meet the tough requirements of FTTH, PON and CATV networks. Based on unique waveguide technology of Ion-Exchange in glass, such splitters exhibit very low insertion loss and PDL, great channel uniformity and a wide wavelength operative range.
The 1xN PLC Optical Splitters are available in 1x2, 1x4, 1x8, 1x16, 1x32, 1x64, 1x128 and custom configurations, and comply with Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 requirements. Various packaging types, input and output fibers are available according to the customer demand.

KeyFibre’s single-mode Planar Lightwave Circuit Splitter (PLCS) are developed based on a unique silica glass waveguide process with reliable precision aligned fibre pigtail in a miniature package. They provide a low cost light distribution solution with small form factor and high reliability.
With 1:n and 2:n solutions available, the devices are high performance in terms of low insertion loss, low PDL, high return loss and excellent uniformity over a wide range of wavelengths from 1260nm to 1650nm. Supplied as is or pre-mounted in rackmountable solutions, working temperature is from -40oC to +85oC.
Available in fanout, blockless and modules, these products meet or exceed Telcordia GR-1209-CORE and GR-1221-CORE reliability qualification requirement.
