Step1 Warming-up
1. Greetings
2. Free talk:
I’m Miss Zheng, I’m from Lianyungang, are you from
Lianyungang? Let’s enjoy some pictures about our city.
Step2 Lead in
1.Learn new words: clean, messy and dirty
看完我们城市漂亮的图片后,T: This is our city,I think it’s beautiful and clean.
T: We have known our city is beautiful and clean .Let’s look at another city’s photos. (再呈现另一组图片,城市肮脏) T: Is the city clean?
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: It’s messy and dirty.
(听录音领读messy and dirty)
2.引出课题Unit 6 Keep our city clean
T: So we should keep our city clean .Today we will learn Unit6 Keep our city clean.
Step3 presentation and practice
1. Watch and choose .
T : Miss Li is showing her students some pictures too. What are they talking about ?Let’s watch the cartoon and choose .
2. Let’s think
T : The city is very dirty . What makes the city dirty ?学生听课文58页内容,完成选项。
3. 教师核对答案,新授生词:dead , factory , rubbish
4. Work in groups : make a report 根据课本内容,学生一问一答,操练巩固新句型。
5. What can we do to keep our city clean ? 学生读课文59页,划出孩子们的建议,同时新授单词: metro , move ...away from , plant .
6. Think and write 完成课本60页的练习,认真书写!给学生笔头的练习,进一步加深对课文内容的理解。

1.Listen and repeat .注意模仿语音语调,教师指导重读和升降调。
