昨晚我做了一个梦六年级英文作文
Last Night I Had a Dream
Have you ever had a really weird dream that felt totally real while it was happening? That's what happened to me last night and I just have to tell you all about it!
It started off pretty normal. I was at school, sitting in Mrs. Thompson's class. We were having a math test on fractions and I was really struggling. I hate fractions! No matter how many times I practice them, they just don't make sense to me. Anyway, I was staring down at the test paper feeling totally stuck when suddenly the classroom started shaking. At first I thought it was just me being nervous, but then I looked around and saw that everyone else looked scared too.
"Earthquake!" someone yelled. We all scrambled out of our desks and huddled in the hallway like we'd practiced in our earthquake drills. But this was no ordinary earthquake. The shaking just kept getting more and more intense until finally, the whole school seemed to lift right off its foundation!
I know that sounds completely crazy, but that's honestly what it felt like. One second we were crouching in the hallway, and the next we were floating up into the sky! I could see the
ground getting further and further away through the windows. Pretty soon we were up above the clouds. I've never been scared of heights before, but floating that high up in a school building was terrifying.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any weirder, the floors and walls of the school started to melt away, leaving just the desks, chairs, lockers, and other furniture hovering in mid-air. Even the teachers were just gone, disappeared into thin air! It was just us students, floating aimlessly without anything to hold onto.
At that point, my dream took an even crazier turn. The desks and chairs started rearranging themselves into different shapes and objects. A bunch of chairs clustered together to form what looked like a giant bird. Lockers melted into a pool that shaped itself into a massive whale that was swimming through the sky!
All the students were just as confused as I was, frantically trying to grab onto whatever solid objects were nearby so we didn't go floating off into nothingness. I managed to pull myself aboard the back of the whale-shaped mass of lockers. A bunch of other kids were there too, all of us huddled together terrified but also in complete awe of what was happening.
The whale construction breached through a cloud, and that's when I saw it - a whole incredible world made up of reconfigured school supplies! There were forests made of sharpened pencils, buildings constructed from textbooks, even a little village inhabited by transformed school desks walking around on desk legs. It was mind-blowing.
That's when I realized that in this dream world, anything was possible. I could reshape my surroundings into whatever I wanted, just by thinking about it hard enough. So I closed my eyes and concentrated as hard as I could on making something cool. When I opened them again, the former pencil forest had transformed into a giant chocolate river winding through a landscape of cookie mountains and candy cane trees! A bunch of kids had already jumped in and were swimming and splashing around in the chocolate.
I knew I had to get in on that action. Carefully, I climbed over the side of the locker whale and cannonballed into the deliciously warm chocolate river. It tasted even better than it looked - the richest, most chocolatey liquid you can imagine. Pretty soon, all my friends had joined me and we were having the biggest chocolate swim party ever.
The fun kept on going from there. Every time I thought the dream couldn't get any better, it proved me wrong. One minute we were chocolate swimming, the next we were riding makeshift skateboards constructed from folders and binders down a mountain of solidified peanut butter! After that, we explored the walking desk-creature village and got to interact with those little guys. They were actually pretty friendly once you got to know them.
I could barely keep up with all the constantly shifting landscapes and adventures we were having. It was just one crazy, unbelievable experience after another. All the typical laws of physics and reality were completely out the window. Anything I could dream up became real in an instant.
I'm not sure how much time passed in that dream world before I eventually woke up. It could've been hours or even days for all I know. All I can say is it was the most epic, unforgettable dream I've ever had! When I opened my eyes and realized I was just back in my regular bedroom, I was
actually kind of disappointed. That magical dream realm was so fun and exciting, I didn't want it to end.
That's the funny thing about dreams though, isn't it? No matter how bizarre or incredible they might seem at the time,
you always have to wake up to regular old reality eventually. Still, I'll never forget the pure imagination and wonder of that dream. If I'm ever struggling with a tough math test or having a bad day, I'll just remind myself that my dream self is a master of reshaping the world into whatever my heart desires! Maybe I'll even be lucky enough to visit that delightfully delicious, infinitely transformable dream world again someday. A kid can dream, can't they?。
