including whole grains, lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats. Each of these groups provides essential nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids. Carbohydrates, for
instance, are our body's primary source of energy, while proteins aid in tissue repair and growth. Vitamins and minerals, on the other hand, play crucial roles in various metabolic processes, maintaining our immune system, and supporting bone health.
Moreover, a balanced diet helps us maintain a healthy weight. Obesity, a result of an imbalanced diet and lack of exercise, is a leading cause of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Eating a variety of foods in moderation and controlling portion sizes can assist in preventing.。
