Aim: Revise the pattern sentences in Unit 5.

Aim: To introduce Ss to the unit goal: talk about what
people are doing; increase their vocabulary.
Step 3:
1.Present some pictures of animals, ask: What are lions
doing? They are fighting. What is the elephant doing? It is
walking.
Repeat with the other pictures.
2.Ask a S do an action, ask What are you doing? Help him
to answer I am…Repe at other Ss.
3.Repeat the words after the teacher.
Step 4 1a
Ask an S to read the activities, and then read after me,
finally read together.
Ss match, check the answers, help Ss to say full answers,
e.g.: Picture i: He is watching TV.

Aim: To help Ss recognize the target language.
1.Play the tape, Ss write the numbers..
