I wanted that moment to last forever, but of course, time marched on, and the sun eventually dipped below the horizon.
On the other hand, there are times when I wanted to speed up time, to hurry through the difficult or mundane moments and get to the good parts. Like when I was stuck in traffic on my way to an important meeting, or waiting in line at the grocery store with a cart full of groceries. I just wanted time to move faster so I could get to where I needed to be.
