专八作文考试注意事项1. 如果考试题目没有给出明确的中心话题，大家在挑话题的时候，切记不要太大太泛，不要大包大揽。
2. 结构方面应该写成四或五段，不要有奇思异想。
第一段（引入话题+中心思想thesis statement，第一句话千万不能犯错误。
）；第二段body部分（每段一定要有一个总结性的topic sentence，然后要有明显的表示顺序逻辑的关联词，如果没话说了，就举例子。
）；第三段总结部分（总结前文+实践性的建议或行动举措）。

所以记住不要着急，要留出时间（前面5分钟写提纲outline，后面5分钟为检查时间。
检查时可以采取轻声地默读，这样更能发现你文章中的：语法错误、大小写、时态、句子是否完整、以及主谓一致等问题。

6. P.O.V.：尽量避免使用第一人称“I”。
中间的人称要保持一致（不要开始用you，后面又they或者“he”、“we”）7. 最后一段勿用“？”和“！”。

9. 尽自己的能力刻意使用或替换一些形象、生动的词汇，避免使用一些如bad, good, many, beautiful之类的泛词。
10. 因为是考试，所以不要用口语化的语言。
比如don't won't aren't，或者esp. ad. dept.之类的，一定要全称，不能缩写。

英语专八写作指导Part Two Structure of TEM-8Compsition1. 作文三段式基本常识由于八级作文使用的是三段式格式，那我们就有必要先对它有个基本的了解。
顾名思义，三段式就是由三个段落组成的文章。
但是这样理解就太简单了。
其实，三段式指的是由三个部分组成的文章，这三部分的关系可以用下面的图1表示：引言段(Introduction Paragraph)正文段1 正文段2 正文段3(Body Paragraph 1) (Body Pamgraph 2) (Body Paragraph 3)结论段(Concluding Paragraph)图示：三段式的段落关系由上图可以看出，三段式的作文会用一个段落作引言，以引出话题并阐明观点，然后会用几个段落来支持这个观点，最后再做一个总结。
虽然上图显示中间部分有三个段落，但实际上作者可以自己决定，如TEM-4的作文和CET的作文，可以少至只有一个；又比如TOEFL 和TEM-8，也可以是好几个段落。
最后作者会用一个简短的段落来结束全文，这个段落就是常说的结论段。
所以说，三段式的结构并不复杂，基本上按照总-分-总的格式来安排就不会有问题。
但是要想保这三个部分确实能起到应有的作用，帮助阅卷教师清楚地判断这三个部分的存在，我们必须在每个部分放置一定的关键信息。
这是写作实战中获得高分关键保证。
第一层为引言段，主要表述文章的thesis statement。
第二层为主要分论点，简称要点；第三层为支持各分论点的证据。
第二层和第三层合起来构成正文段。
第四层提出全文的结论。

考生不论是在练习时还是在考场上都应当牢记这一点。
许多考生在作文上败下阵来就是因为花费了大量的时间和精力追求内容的新颖别致。
国家考试中心在出专八作文试题时特别注意选择一些弹性不是很大的题目，因为考试作为一种语言测试方式，其重点在于测试考生英语语言水平，它不像出国英语考试，譬如托福、GMAT和GRE这类智商型考试那样测试考生逻辑思辩的能力；如果设置弹性较大的题目，评卷人在评分时就不容易把握。

在考场上，笔者认为考生在构思内容上所花的时间不应超过5分钟，在认真读题并将其理解透彻以后，考生可以在试卷题目下方的空白处列一个简短的提纲，用中文即可，以此作为写作过程中内容的提示，在提笔开始写作的过程中就可将重点放在保证语言的流畅得体上，不会因为内容而中断思路。
专八高分作文的第二大策略是结构模式化，这也是最核心的一条策略。
通览以往的考试作文考题，细心的考生不难发现，专业英语作文考题不仅题目弹性很小，而且题型相结稳定，这就为考生在短期内提高作文分数创造了一个条件，使考生完全可以在考前针对考试中可能出现的题型按照固定的结构模式进行训练。
二、结构模式化做到内容简单化和结构模式化，考生就已经向专八高分作文的目标迈进了一大步，如果考生还能在语言的细节上下一些功夫，作文的分数就会更上一层楼，这也就是我们接下来要谈的第三大策略：语言要包装。

英语专八写作技巧
(1)审题
在写作考试中要写出符合题目要求。
高质量的作文，第一步是审题。
所谓审题，就是通过阅读写作题目及相关信息或要求，准确领会
题目的含义，了解题目要求，为构思合乎具体写作要求的文章思路及
框架打下基础。
数年来TEM-8写作项目已形成自身的特色。
这个特色
就是，该项目内的几个部分（观点、情景、标题、写作要求）具有内
在的联系，从而构成一个整体。
所以，审题就意味着不是仅仅浏览一
个标题，而是要兼顾其他部分。
只有这样，学生才能真正明确写作目的，领会写作要求。
以TEM-8—1997的写作项目为例。
该年的标题是 SOWING THE SEEDS，NURTURING GROWTH AND HEARVESTING THE REWARDS。
如果我们
孤立地看题目的话，就很难领会该篇作文的具体要求和目的。
但是，
一旦我们把标题与前面的情景与观点部分联系起来，这个标题的含义
就变得清晰：它要求学生用标题所含的耕作过程来比拟获得大学学业
成就的过程。
同时，对具体语篇模式的要求（即ANALOGY）也显示在这部分中间。
至于对作文修辞框架的要求，则出现在标题下面的一段文
字中。
总来说之，提升审题的准确性有利于学生理解题目含义，了解
写作要求，进而有针对性地构思作文内容、布局等。
不过，在历年写
作阅卷中我们发现，审题有误仍是学生经常犯的错误之一。
归纳起来有以下几点：
1）不熟悉TEM-8写作的设计特点，以为只看标题即可着手写作。
这常常导致在文章内容上出现严重偏差。
2）对情景观点部分的理解一知半解，未经仔细斟酌就提笔写作文。
这往往会造成学生采用错误的语篇模式。
3）忽略写作项目中对作文修辞框架的提示。
这容易使得作文思路
或结构混乱或失衡。

(2)行文的统一性和连贯性
一篇优秀的作文应该具有以上两个特点。
就TEM-8写作项目来说，这主要体现在作文的内容和框架上。
按照写作要求，一篇合格的作文
由三个部分组成。
第一部分包括作者的论点（THESIS STATEMENT）。
论点应明确、清楚。
第二部分是作文的主体。
这部分的要求是通过恰当、合适的语篇模式（如：CAUSE AND EFFECT，COMPARISON AND CONTRAST，等等）来论证前面提出的论点。
论证的过程要做到结构严谨、层次分明、合乎逻辑。
要做到结构严谨，就需要学生在写作中抓
住中心，并围绕中心展开讨论。
结构严谨的作文同时也应是层次分明
的作文。
为了使论证过程具有说服力，作文应采用一种层次结构。
所
谓层次结构指构成语篇的句子或者各段之间在逻辑意义上存有着一种
主从关系，它们或者是解释关系，或者是因果关系，或者是总分关系。
书卷语体通常属于这类结构，即一个语篇往往由不同层次的语段构成。
此外，作文应有逻辑性，文中观点的阐述要合乎情理，观点之间的衔
接要自然、顺畅。
第三部分为作文的结尾。
一篇思想内容完整的作文
离不开一个好的结尾。
一般来说，结尾部分的内容应为前面部分的总结。
所以，这部分应与前面部分保持论点上的一致性和统一性。
结尾
部分忌讳的是牛头不对马嘴，前后没有连贯性，因而破坏作文的完整性。

(3)语言的规范性和准确性
作文的思想内容都必须通过语言形式来表达。
TEM-8作文要求语言得体、通顺，无重大语法错误。
如果作文句不成句，用词不当，语法
错误连篇，就很难将作者的意图表达清楚。
但是，历年来的写作项目
反映出学生在作文的统一性、连贯性和语言的规范性方面还普遍存有
一些问题。
概括起来有以下几点：?
l）作文中的论点未展开。
这主要表现为没有按照要求在第一部分
中阐明观点，而是东拉西扯，写了与题目相关或无关的细节或现象。
比如在以IN SUPPORT OF DORMITORY POLICIES为题的作文中，一些学
生不是开门见山地点明主题思想，而是列举了一些寝室里的情况或评
论一些不良现象。
最后因为篇幅有限，就在结束时提一句寝室制度就草草收尾。

2）作文结构不严谨，段落没有主题句，且句际段落关系不明显。
这个现象在作文中带有一定的普遍性。
有些学生在写作时没有理清思路，按照一定的逻辑框架写，而是想到什么就写什么，所以文章显得松散。

3）作文首尾不一致。
作文开头与结尾部分内容衔接不上，或自相矛盾。

4）作文缺乏连贯性（COHERENCE）。
在对历年来考生作文的分析中，我们发现以下几个现象：?
A. 差的作文中简单句多，而好的作文中则少；?
B. 差的作文中从句和连词出现的频率大大低于好的作文；?
C. 差的作文中各种照应的使用低于好的作文；?
D. 差的作文中关键词和同义／近义词出现的频率低于好的作文。
以上的部分简单地讨论了TEM-8写作项目的要求、预期达到的标准以及学生作文中反映出来的一些带有共性的问题。
在结束之前，我们就如何提升写作水平谈几点看法：?
1、写作水平的培养要从最基本概念做起，一步一个脚印，扎实地实行基本功训练。

2、就TEM-8写作项目来说，要提升驾驭文章整体思路的水平就要增强逻辑思维训练，通过各类写作手法的操练来提升这方面的水平。
此外，要提升语言的准确性，学会使用各种语篇纽带，如 LOGICAL、GRAMMATICAL、SEMANTIC CONNECTORS，使作文思路清晰，论点鲜明，例证充分，语言得体，真正达到写作的要求。
