《落花生》是许地山先生的回忆性小说，本章是他儿时生活的一段节选。文字朴实，通俗易懂，内涵深刻，这是一篇富有教育意义的叙述文体，即通过身边的一些小事而感悟到一些深刻的大道理。要翻译好这类文本，应要遵循目的论，其核心概念是：决定翻译过程的最主要因素是整体翻译行为的目的，在费米尔的目的论框架中，决定翻译目的的最重要因素之一是受众??译文所意指的接受者。他们有自己的文化背景知识，对译文的期待以及交际需求。每一种翻译都指向一定的受众，因此翻译是在“目标语情景中为某种目的及目标受众而生产的语篇”（见Nord 1997:12）翻译也是一种跨文化行为，亚格认为不同文化间的界限是通过“文化要点”（rich points）勾勒出来。所谓“文化要点”指的是导致两个不同的群体在接触中产生文化冲突和交际障碍的种种行为差异。来自不同社会的团体会产生语言文化差异从而导致交际障碍，这就意味着在处理与此相关的翻译任务时，译者要在通懂原文的基础上留心处理译文的逻辑关系和选词搭配。
