Module 2 No DrugsPeriod 川 GrammarNov. _________I 、不定式作目的状语1) 构成:to +动词原形,否定: n ot to do sth.2)有时为了强调,把不定式放在句首, 或在不定式前加inorder 或so as , in order to 引 导的目的状语,可以放在句首,也可以放在句尾;而 so as to 引导目的状语,只能置于句 尾。

3)不定式作目的状语,它的逻辑主语是句子主语,如不是,则要用 for …结构引出逻辑主 语。

Module 2 No DrugsI.教学内容分新本模块以“No Drugs”为话题。

学生通过本模块的学习,要对drugs和smoking有所了解,并通过深人探讨认识到drugs和smoking对身体健康的害处,以及它们引发的社会问题。

学生通过学习可以树立远离香烟和毒品的意识,养成良好的生活习惯,关爱社会,关心他人,并可以运用所学知识以恰当的方式来规劝他人远离香烟和毒品。

Introduction首先让学生通过对有关吸烟数据的判断,初步认识吸烟的危害,然后让学生学习有关香烟、吸毒和其危害性的词汇,并通过对三个问题的讨论对其进一步理解和巩固。

Reading and Vocabulary学习另外一些毒品的名称及相关的词汇。

通过学习一篇外国年轻人吸毒、戒毒的文章和另外一篇关于毒品危害性的文章让学生掌握这些相关词汇;通过完成相关的阅读练习来培养学生的阅读能力,让学生深刻体会到毒品对人心身的危害。

Grammar J学习动词不定式作目的状语,并弄清in order to和SO as to的用法。

Function学习SO,as a result of和as a result表示“结果”的用法,并通过练习来巩固所学内容。

Listening and Vocabulary首先让学生了解和学习有关犯罪的词汇,然后采用回答问题和完成句子的形式来对听力内容进行检测,培养学生的听力能力。

Module 2 No drugs一、教材分析本课时所教的是外研版高一上学期使用的必修⑵Module2中的Listening andvocabulary和speaking部分的内容,是本模块的第三课时。

要求通过听的活动了解和学习有关吸毒和犯罪的词汇,培养表达结果,作总结逻辑思维能力和获取信息的能力。

Speaking讨论抽烟带来的危害,为了与听力部分的内容衔接,我对Spe aking中的话题作个修改,把讨论吸烟的危害改编成毒品的危害。

在这节听说课之前,学生学习了Reading andvocabulary,通过阅读文章,已经掌握了部分抽烟、吸毒及其危害的词汇,本课时由复习旧课入手,引入新课的新词汇,并以听说为主线,对吸毒这一主题进行延伸和拓展。

二、教学目标本模块是通过学习表达吸毒及其危害的词语和其它语言形式,养成良好生活习惯,教育学生关爱社会,关爱他人,远离毒品。

三、语言知识目标:1、词汇有:burglary, connection, crime, criminal, illegal, ratio, shoplifting, treatment2、语言技能目标:听懂有关吸毒及其危害的话语并获取信息,学会抓住关键意见,进行summarizi ng,并用英语讨论,表达吸毒的危害。

3、情感目标:提高自我保护意识,养成良好生活习惯,珍爱生命,远离毒品。
