中国2006年实行新托福考试不考语法考口语
美有关人士同时表示,考生可在15个工作日内在线查看成绩
托福(TOEFL)改为通过互联网考试的“新托福考试”,将于2006年起在中国实施。
昨天,美国教育考试服务中心评测总监郝克在新闻发布会上透露这一信息。
郝克说,“新托福”内容包括阅读、听力、口语和写作四个部分,与过去相比,“新托福”用口语测试替代了语法测试,以便更好地考查考生的理解和沟通能力。
此外,“新托福”还将着重评测考生在高等教育环境,包括演讲和讨论、参加学习小组和撰写论文等方面使用英语的能力。
郝克指出,考生可在15个工作日内在线查看自己的成绩。
美国教育考试服务中心的专家组还将通过分项和综合评分的方式,为考生提供书面成绩单。
“这将使考生更清晰地了解自己在英语学习上的长处和不足。
”
据悉,目前,美国教育服务中心已在其网站上开设了四项备考服务,包括托福在线练习、锋利英语课件、托福学术口语考试和全美英语写作在线培训系统。
考生可通过互联网,了解并练习“新托福”的模拟试题。
郝克表示,“新托福”在中国实施的具体时间将于今年11月最终确定。
