三年级综合英语上册第五单元第一课教案

课题: Unit 5 Time lesson 1 What a boring day

教学目标:1、复习数字及巩固一日作息制度的表达。

2、对时间在每日作息上有一个认识,明白什么时候该做什么事情。

3、体验在日常作息中使用英语的乐趣。

4、学习并能够使用简单的英文时间表达法并能辨认时钟并用英语表达出时间。

重点: Wh at time is it now? It’s seven o’clock.

It’s time to get up/ go to school /go home/go to bed /do homework

It’s time for class/breakfast/lunch/dinner.

难点:It’s time to get up/ go to school /go home/go to bed /do homework It’s time for class/breakfast/lunch/dinner.

教具: PowerPoint word cards 四个Indian boys 的头饰

教学步骤:

Step 1

Greetings and warm-up:

a) Talk about the week, months, date and weather

b) Sing a song: Ten Indian Boys.

c) Review the numbers. (How many boys are there in the song?)

. step2

a) The Ind ian boys: Hello, everyone. Let’s introduce our timetable.

S: Hello.

So the teacher shows a timetable.

b) Shows a picture of a clock and ask the student: what time is it now?

It’s 6:30a.m. It’s time to get up.

c) Learn the sentences and the new phras es: it’s time to get up/go to school. It’s time for breakfast/lunch /.

d) Shows the clocks and ask some students to say out the right time, and then learn the sentences. It’s time to go home/do homework.

e) Listen to the ring of the clock and ask the students to say out the right time and ask what will I do? Learn the sentences by this way. It’s time to go to bed. It’s time for dinner.

Step 3

a)Practice the new phrases and the sentences by playing two games.

1.TPR: listen to the sentences and do the right actions.

2.Each group comes a student to the front (4 groups) to do the action. (the teacher

whisper the sentences the whole class say out the sentences loudly)

b)Group work: shows two timetables for the Indian boys and ask the students to pretend

to be the Indian boys and choose one to practice the time and what to do with their partners.(4 in a group)

C) Ask some groups to act out time the dialogue. Wear the headwear for the Indian boys.

Step 4

a)Play a game: choose a piece of paper and answer what to do.

b)Listen and answer:

Let’s watch the DVD about Billy’s day, then finish Billy’s timetable.

Step 5

Homework: Make your own timetable after class.
