Describe an advertisement you’ve seenYou should sayWhat it showsWhen you saw itWhat does it sellExplain why you like it so much1.I love shopping so I pay attention to fashion magazines. And not long ago, I saw a piece of advertisement for the fashion brand Benetton.I was instantly moved by the positive meaning/ message it sends.2. In the picture, five young people are posing confidently and attractively in very colorful clothes. The bright colors are veryeye-catching. And if you look closer, you wi ll find there’re men and women, black and white. I don’t know why, it looks so harmonious. 和谐3. It was a cloudy afternoon, when I was taking the subway back to my college. I wasn’t in a very good mood. Maybe it was the weather.4. But when I saw the advertisement, my feeling was suddenly changed. On the surface, the ad is selling the new clothes, but the deeper meaning is to promote the peace and harmony among people of different sexes and skin colors.5. I love this advertisement, because not like the other advertisements, which usually do one thing only—persuade you to buy things, this one tries to communicate a world belief that is much bigger than making business profits. I see peace, harmony and love in it. That’s why I like it. (200 words)深度讨论广告中photo的重要性构思:象征这品牌形象, 体现着理念好的广告照片抓人眼球,特别促销能给人启发,比方说BenettonThe advertisement frequently represent the brand image of a product. And a good advertisement concept can spread the influence and fame of a brand. Naturally, it can promote the sales of a product on the one hand and build up people’s loyalty towards the company on the other. And agood ad, such as the one for Benetton can enlighten people and make people think. When an ad can do these things, it's no longer just an ad.。

雅思口语考试模板之广告篇

雅思口语考试模板之广告篇

我的托福雅思必过雅思口语考试模板之广告篇今天给大家带来了雅思口语范文例如Describe something you bought because you watched its advertisement的详细内容,感兴趣的同学千万不要错过了。

1.What are popular types of advertising? 哪类广告最受欢送?Well, nowadays, there are numerous marketable ways that companies use to target their audience. One of the most favoured ad types is corporate sponsorship which embraces everything from different sports teams to fairs and festivals. It is also considered to be an effective means of increasing the company s visibility in the community. One more well liked type of advertising is banner ads. They literally clutter up the Internet, which means they are well received by consumers too. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention leaflets which are still actively distributed by people in public places and, of course, hoardinqs that virtually plaster cities with different kinds of messages.2.What type of media advertising do you like most?你最喜欢的传媒广告是哪类?Well, I would say that I prefer Internet advertising because the Internet is the only type of media I am using these days. Ads constantly pop up on the screen of my computer chasing me wherever I go online. What I like about it is that the adverts that appear are based on my previous browsing history, so, even though I am disturbed by them, at least, they show the stuff I am interested in. 3.How does advertising influence children? 广告如何影响儿童?Well, it differently affects kids wellbeing mainly leading them to unhealthy choices, changes in behaviour and even eating disorders. Children are an extremely vulnerable target audience. They believe the messages in advertisements without a doubt and then may make excessive demands on their parents for the products they see in the ads. Children are in a development phase and not able to understand the persuasive character or ironic connotations hidden in advertising messages taking everything at face value, which poses a threat to their health and behaviour. Though, the cases when adverts influence kids in d positive way setting a good example them to follow. So, it depends.4.Is there any advertising that can be harmful to children? 有哪些广告对儿童有伤害? Unfortunately, there is. I am more than sure that it s not good for kids to see advertising of alcohol, cigarettes, drugs or unhealthy foods cause children are cognitively and psychologically defenseless against advertising and often imitate specific behaviours they see in the media. So seeing somebody smoking or drinking a glass of something strong can push a child to trying the same, which is, no doubt, unhealthy and harmful for them in young years.5.What factors should be taken into account while making advertisements? 制作广告需要注意哪些问题?Oh, plenty of them, actually. I guess that number one factor is the content because that s what will either attract or not attract the viewers. I would even say not the content itself but its uniqueness, which is of primary importance for a good advert. Factor two is a target audience and the regional culture cause different buyers and different cultures can be attracted by different things. I would also name presentation and selection of suitable media as an important factor to consider and maybe the reach or number of people exposed to the message. That s it, I guess.。

雅思口语part2话题库范文之:重要信件(important letter you received)思如初恋。

话不多说,范文自取:You should say:When you received itWho sent itWhat it was aboutWhy it was important to you1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:an important letter you received(重要信件)Ok, well I suppose one of the most important letters I’ve received was an offer letter from a university I applied to – Leeds University, to be precise – so that’s what I think I’ll talk about. And as for who the letter was from, well, I cant quite remember the name of the actual person who wrote it, I’m afraid, but if I’m not mistaken, it was sent by the university admissions office, who I guess are responsible for handling such matters.Anyway, regarding what the letter was about, well basically, it wasjust informing me that I had been accepted onto their Master’s program in Finance, so it was really great news for me, because this was the course that I most wanted to study, and out of all the various universities that I applied to, Leeds was definitely top of my list, as it was the one that most appealed to me, in terms of both the course content and social life. So, as you can imagine, I was over the moon after receiving the offer.I mean, it felt like all the years of hard work I’ve put into my studies seemed to have finally paid off, so it was like a dream come true for me, it really was.And finally then, with regard to why this letter was important, well, I think it goes without saying that it was extremely important, because essentially, it means that I’m gonna be able to study abroad, which I’m sure will have a huge impact on my future career, as it will hopefully enable me to apply for jobs which I wouldn’t have otherwise been considered for.And as well as this, I reckon that studying abroad will help me become more mature and independent, which I’ve noticed has happened with a few of my friends who have spent some time abroad, and I’m sure this’ll have a positive effect on my life in general. So it’s a big opportunity for me, and I’m really looking forward to it!雅思口语话题part2高分范文之:宠爱的广告(an advertisement that you saw)Describe an advertisement that you saw or heard or likedYou should say:Where you saw or heard itWhat kind of advertisement it wasWhat the content of the advertisement was (or, what product /service was advertised)and explain how you felt about this advertisement/ why you liked it.1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:宠爱的广告(advertisement)There are several types of advertisements that we see daily on TV, billboards, through the Internet, social networking sites, mobile applications, and mobile games. Many of them are very banal, full of marketing speech and kind of boring while others are average and their primary focus is to express the positive sides of a product to increase the sales. Finally, quite a few of them are creative, informative, humorous, fascinating and memorable.I usually do not like to watch advertisement between a movie/ TV programme and large commercial breaks are quite annoying to me. I personally think that the best way of advertising is using billboards, which can lead you to remember the brand name forever without actually annoying you.Well, the best advertisement I have ever seen that I still like for its uniqueness was on a highway in the United Arab Emirates and I really liked the idea of this advertisement. One day while passing the main road a big billboard caught my eyes. It was designed to look like the filtration zone of a cigarette which is commonly known as the cigarette butt. The large billboard was quite different in shape and it presented the message ‘Stop smoking even Marlboro’ quite visibly.I stole a glance at the billboard and thought about the message it conveyed. I actually did not think much and forgot about it. After an hour I found myself in front of a beach with a packet of Marlboro cigarette inmy pocket. While I was lighting a cigarette, I was wondering why I bought a packet of Marlboro? It is usually not my brand! To my surprise, I realised that the advertisement that I saw on the road had an immense effect on my psychology unconsciously. I was convinced that the billboard had forced me to buy that brand unconsciously. I think it was the first time I realised how advertisements can target peoples unconscious mind. Technically speaking this is the moment I realised that the best way to influence people’s buying behaviour is to use their unconscious mind instead of trying to deliver marketing speeches. When I thought more to analyse the billboard advertising and its effect on me, I realised that the advertiser tried to use reverse advertising techniques by delivering the message that Marlboro is less dangerous and smokers who wish to quit smoking should try this. Possibly all smokers- from light smokers to heavy ones, wish a day without smoking though many of them do not try hard. Then the billboard advertisement was pretending as if they were broadcasting an important public safety message. Moreover, they used a fascinating design on the billboard that would actually grab anyones attention. As you can see, they were quite successful as I still remember this advert very vividly and I like this advertisement due to the creative thinking of the maker.雅思口语话题part2高分范文之:宠爱的家人(sth you enjoy doing with an old person)Describe something you enjoy doing with an old person in your familyYou should say:What it isHow often you do itWho you do it withWhy you enjoy doing it with this personI enjoy spending time with my maternal grandmother. She is eighty and has an opinion on anything and everything. My grandma is an energetic person. She has some age-related problems but she gets about more than my mother or me. Actually, there are hardly any temples in South India that she hasn’t been to. She is fluent in most South Indian languages and also possesses a working knowledge of Sanskrit. I visit my grandmother at least once a month. When we were kids, we used to spend the weekends at her place and then she would tell us numerous stories from Hindu mythology and keep in entertained for hours on end. Actually, if I am deeply religious today, that is because of her. She also visits us very often, and whenever she does she makes it a point to bring us lots of gifts and other goodies. She is a generous woman who enjoys giving food and money to the needy. The reason that I enjoy spending time with her is that she has a positive attitude towards anything. Actually I have never seen her looking depressed or hopeless. She is great fun to be with.雅思口语话题part2高分范文之:学习技能( sth you learned in a place or from someone)Describe something you learned in a place or from someoneYou should say:What it wasWhere or who you got itWhat the situation wasHow you felt思路点拨:以下思路谨供参考,盼望大家依据自己的真实经受编写答案。

雅思写作高分范文之是否应禁止广告范文In recent years, more and more advertisements have been flooding into our lives. Some advertisements exert negative effects on the youth. Therefore some people suggest that advertisements be banned. Do you agree or disagree with this? Give your reasons.Along with the rapid progress of society, the advertising industry has undergone remarkable development. Every day we are surrounded by all kinds of ads and commercials, which have a profound influence on our daily lives. As a result, there arises a fierce debate concerning the proposal that we should ban all kinds of advertisements. On one hand, some people are in favor of the idea that advertisement should not be banned; instead it should be further developed. They are of the opinion that advertisement is a good channel which helps promote the exchanges of information. In an era of information, everyone can benefit a lot from the advertisements, not only the manufacturers but the customers. Moreover, the advertisement enables people to catch up with the amazing advance in all fields. From the mushrooming advertisements, people get to know some newest products and the trend of consumption. Thirdly, advertising, to some extent, is not only an industry but an art. Many advertisements are elaborate works of art full of ingenuity and originality, which render great spiritual pleasure to the viewers and add to the picturesque cityscape. In a word, the advertisement is a blessingfor modern people.Despite the benefits advertisement has brought us, many people strongly condemn it, saying that they have been fed up with all kinds of rubbish ads. They call for a comprehensive ban on the advertisement based on the following reasons. First of all, a majority of advertisements are fictitious and misleading, causing confusi on in people’s daily life and even leading to the injury and death of some customers. Secondly, they bring many inconveniences and troubles to us. For example, are you pleased with a mailbox stuffed with unwanted ads or a wonderful film on TV being interrupted frequently? Furthermore, the non-standard use of language in advertisement brings about irreparable damage to the integrity and purity of our language. Consequently, it will exert a disastrous impact on the literacy of our younger generations. In some people’s eyes, the advertisement is just a Genie out of the bottle. To be frank, it is quite impossible for people to reach an absolute consensus on most controversial issues. To my mind, a total ban on advertisement is not an ideal and practical choice. How can we imagine all advertisements vanishing overnight? The demerits should by no means make us lose sight of the benefits advertisements have brought to us. A more workable and rational attitude should be adopted; that is, to eliminate the false and re tain the true. Always bear in mind the old saying:“never throw away the baby with bath water.”雅思写作大作文范文之儿童观看广告雅思写作真题范文:There are many advertisements directed at children, such as snacks, toys and other goods. Parents argue that children are under pressure. Advertisers claim that the advertisements provide useful information. Discuss both viewsand give your own opinion.(有许多针对儿童的广告,如零食、玩具和其他商品。

雅思口语当季话题卡:Describe an advertisement you remember well 记忆深刻的广告.doc

雅思口语当季话题卡:Describe an advertisement you remember well

Describe an advertisement you remember wellYou should say:Where you saw itWhat it was aboutWhat it was likeWhy you remember it well参考答案下面给小编根据具体的题目要求,给出的原创参考答案:。

Well, an advertisement I remember well was the one selling beverages. It’s a brand called Hainan Coconut Tree Milk.一个让我记忆深刻的广告是关于卖饮料的广告。

是一个叫海南椰树牌椰汁的品牌。

I remember it was during the Spring Festival Gala of 2008 that I got to know this ad for the first time. You know what, the time during the Gala on TV was very precious, and usually companies from all industries wanted to bid for a chance to show their?product. I saw this coconut milk commercial right before the gala began, so you know how dear that ad fees would be.我记得是在2008年春季节年欢晚会期间我第一次看到了这则广告。

1. Why do you think advertising influences what people buy very strongly ?Advertising is a very powerful tool in the media . Because many people do not have the real knowledge of the product , most of the time they rely on media for information , which they think is trustworthy .2. Do you think advertising creates a need that otherwise wouldnt exist ?Definitely , if there is no advertising , consumers will not realize certain products exist so they will not buy it . With advertising , consumers are introduced to products and will be stimulated to make purchases .3. Can you give me an example of advertising that you dont like ?Yes , I dont like advertising targeting at children . I think children are too young to make a rational decision . Children are most easily influenced by what they see on the advertisement . Ithink this is not healthy for children and even a headache forparents if the kids always pester their parents to buy things for them .以上就是这3篇关于广告的雅思口语话题范文的全部内容,字数都不多,都是仅仅是开头的几句话。

About a couple of months ago I saw an advertisement on the Internet for a special pair of running shoes. It was the picture that caught my attention first because the shoes looked very different from normal running shoes. They were designed like a pair of gloves for your feet, if you know what I mean. They were made from a special"breathable'material and had a synthetic sole grafted onto the body so that they fitted like a glove on your foot, but the bottom was quite similar to the normal pair running shoes so that it provided protection for your feet.Anyway, the ad was basically a 360 degrees color photo of the shoes, showing them from all angles and some technical and product information about them. There was also a video that was maybe 3 or 4 minutes long to introduce the shoes. It was more an informative ad than anything arty or creative, but it made me want to buy the shoes because I hadnt seen them before and I wanted to try them, so I ordered a pair in my size and they arrived a couple of days later. Ive tried them out a couple of times so far and they seem really good. 4雅思口语喜爱的科目话题A favorite subjectI think the most interesting subject in my high school is geography. I have a dream to travel around the world since I was a child. At that time, I would always wonder where exactly some famous cities were on the map, such as London, New York, so I am really interested in geography.I had a great geography teacher in my high school. She was knowledgeable, hard-working and devoted to the students. I always felt very excited when I had geography classes because I couldnt wait to learn more about the world. Besides that, I also liked reading atlas and other books about geography during my spare time. I would always have good marks/grades on geography throughout my high school years. When I talk about geography with my classmates or even parents, I can always impress them with my knowledge. I still like geography and hope I can travel around the world in the future.。

雅思口语题库part1新题配范文:Advertisement广告1.Advertisement问题参考答案1 Are there any TV channels in your country that don’t have adverts?Loraine: No … they’re all commercial channels and show adverts all day long … too many really … and there’s also a lot of product placement going on … especially in soap operas where they place an item just behind the actors.2 Do you enjoy watching adverts on TV?Karin: No … not really … I hate c ommercial breaks during a film … it really spoils the flow … and during prime time viewing they seem to squeeze even more ads in than usual … celebrity endorsements also get on my nerves … everyone knows they’re only doing it because they’re getting paid.3 What are the best ways for ordinary people to advertise something they want to sell in your country?Marianne: The simplest way is to place an advert in something like the classified ads section of a local paper … or there’s the Internet of course … there are lots of sites like eBay where you can buy and sell things online.4 What is it that makes an advert effective?Spencer: Well … when a company launches a product they have to consider the Internet … especially how it can be used to spread the word on social media … so in this context a video that goes viral is probably the most effective type of advert you could make.5 What are the advantages to companies of advertising on the Internet rather than TV?Stelios: I’d imagine the main advantag e is you can reach your target audience much more effectively … if you bring out a niche product for example … or you have a tight advertising budget … you can advertise on particular sites that the people you want to reach visit … that’s not something you can do on TV.6 What things do advertising companies do that might give it a bad name?Raol: For me the most irritating is cold calling … we must get two or three of these every day at work … then there’s junk mail that gets posted through the letterb ox … and of course the online equivalent of this … spam emails … I think it’s this kind of advertising that tends to annoy people.7 Are advertisements important?Definitely, yes. Advertisements bring out the idea of the new products and their features in a nut shell. They prove to be beneficial for both the customers and the company. But, with advertisement market rising up, I think companies have learnt the art of deceiving the customers as well. You can easily find products being depicted as something else in the advertisements. Also, with so many ads coming in, it becomes quite difficult and overwhelming for the customer to choose the product. Having said that, I think advertisements are vital but then there should be more truth to them than flashy statements.8 Do you watch advertisements on television or on internet?I give more preference to the internet as compared to television. I rarely watch TV, so most of the ads that I see are on internet while surfing you tube videos or any other web site.9 Are there many advertisements in your country?Yes, advertising industry has seen a rise in my country. Earlier there were only few advertisements and that to repetitive but in today’s time companies are making great advertisements, most of them being short stories, instead of simply saying buy our product. Also, there is a change of advertisement every month or quarter by the company, which makes it all the more exciting.10 Why do you think there are so many advertisements now? With the coming of Internet and globalization, the world has become a more connected place. We have come out of our houses and stepped onto a world of possibilities. Advertisements have grown in recent times because firstly, people have less time. So, companies need to make the impact of a product on the customer as fast as possible. Also, with coming of globalization there is a lot of competition amongst companies, so they turn towards ads to grab the customer’s attention.11 Where are the places we see advertisements?Almost everywhere, I would say. They are there on television, internet, newspapers, radios and then we can see those big banners and hoardings all over. We find them in different pallets and these days, one can get messages on phone about the various products and offers from companies.12 How do you feel about advertisements?I really love watching advertisements. For some reasons, I get awed by how someone could just make a product stuck in our minds. Some use stories, others have that twist and it is more often not the product that strikes us, it is actually how the advertisement of it relates to our life.13 What kind of advertisements do you like the most?I love watching the advertisements which have some story behind. So, instead of those 10 seconds ads, I would say I prefer the ones that span over at least 45 seconds and strike the chord with something that is affecting us socially. Like, there was recent ad by Biba which did not talked about Biba, but about a strong women and how she fought back dowry. So, now all the strong women will buy Biba.14 What type of advertisements do you prefer to use for getting information?I like static ads to get information about a particular product, instead of the motion ads. Surely, the motion ads are more interesting and fun to see but when it comes to getting information, I would say the ones that come in newspapers or pamphlets are easier to fathom the information.15 Do advertisements influence your choice of product?Surely, it does. Advertisements have come about to affect our choices in way like never before. With so many companies launching products and all of them being so similar, it is often the advertisement that helps in deciding the product to buy. But, when it comes to choosing between a well known or trusted company and the newly established, irrespective of the ad I prefer the trusted one.16 Have you ever bought anything after seeing its advertisements?I think I bought my phone after I saw its advertisement. It wasa great advertisement and after seeing it I was like, I need to findout more about this product. And it truly turned out to be a great product.17 What are the differences in advertisements on television and those in magazines?Advertisements on television are more striking because instead of listing out some facts when you see real characters playing out, they tend to strike a better chord. With magazines, the ads are static. So, there would be information and taglines that simply get printed.18 What do you think is the purpose of advertisements?Advertisements are there to tell the customer about the product, also, to woo them to buy the product. The main idea behind companies making advertisements is to ensure that people surely know about their product.19 Do you think advertising plays an important role in today’s world?Yes, it surely does. People have got less time these days and they are very quick in buying products. So, the one that has a greater impact on them surely gets a priority.20 What sort of advertisements have a deeper impact on people?Instead of selling a product, the advertisements that share a story which can connect to the individual, I think these are the kinds of ads that have deeper impact on people. Because somehow people can relate to the scenario and hence feel more connected to the product.21 Did you see any recent ad which had a deep impact on you?Recently, I saw an ad of Biba. The ad was how a girl was getting ready for meeting the would be groom and his father comes and says be ready soon and she questions as to how can she judge a man over a snack. When she comes down, her father asks the would be groom if he can cook because may be his daughter not want to cook some day and the groom’s mother says t hat my son will learn to cook. It did had an impact on me because in some sense it showed what the society truly needs to be if we are talking of equality.Advertisement必背词汇advertising agency: a company that creates adverts for other companiesadvertising budget: the amount of money a company decides to spend on advertisingbrand awareness: how well people know a particular brandbrand loyalty: the degree to which people continue to buy from the same brand or companybuy and sell: often used to refer to the buying and selling of items between individualscall to action: something that encourages someone to take a particular action, such as making a purchase or clicking a link on a websitecelebrity endorsement: to have a well-known person promote a productclassified ads: small advertisements often put in a newspaper or magazine by individualsto cold call: to call someone with the aim of selling something without them asking you to do socommercial break: the short period during TV programmes when advertisements are showncommercial channel: TV channels that make money from showing advertisementsto go viral: to quickly become extremely popular on the Internet through social mediajunk mail: unwanted promotional leaflets and lettersto launch a product: to introduce a new productmailing list: a list of names and contact details used by a company to send information and advertisementsmass media: large media outlets like TV, newspapers and magazinesniche product: a product that is aimed at a distinct group of peopleto place an advert: to put an advert somewherepress release: something written by a company for newspapers and magazines and websites to share and publish prime time: the time during the viewing schedule when most people watch TV or listen to a broadcastproduct placement: to advertise a product by using it as a prop in a TV show or filmsales page: a page specifically used to promote a product or serviceto show adverts: to display adverts on TVsocial media: websites that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking.spam email: unwanted, promotional emailtarget audience: the people a company want to sell their product or service toword of mouth: recommendations made by individuals to other individuals about a product of service雅思口语part1新题参考范文之:Teenager 变题不慌!Teenager题目参考范文:1.What activities do teenagers in your country like to do?Well, they do anything that lets them enjoy their time, I guess, for example, doing shopping and hanging out with friends, watching online videos and meeting new people.2.Do you often spend time with teenagers?Oh yes. The life of teenagers is always hopeful and promising with enough chances to try and to make mistakes, which is actually a period for them to learn dealing with different problems and going through various kinds of mental and physical changes. In addition, they don’t have to face the heavy living pressure.Although apparently they have limited freedom and rights, and they are likely to feel lonely and confused on the way of growth.重点词汇:promising 充满希望的make mistakes 犯错deal with problems 处理问题go through 经历,度过mental and physical changes 身心改变living pressure 生活压力apparently 明显地confused 迷茫的另一个版本:不喜欢年轻Not really. As teenagers are neither mature enough to have freedom to do something they are really into nor strong enough to earn money to support their livings and dreams. You parents might be not be as up to date as you, but they may give you good timeless advice. They are in the real world, not the "surreal teen world". They had been teenagers just like you and you dont want to know what they did in high school, but they had learned from their mistakes which makes them the stodgy parents you have today. A person used Ebay to offer his body for permanently tattooed advertising. I found that in his arm there is a website called , which is said that it is a California pharmaceutical company, and in his right arm multicolored letters are etched for another company. My first reaction is that the man must be crazy. He etched so many tattoos on his arms. I can’t help wondering “doesn’t it But on a second thought , it is a really creative idea.
