Under the system of the catalyst, methane react with HBr, H2O and oxygen source(O2, air or oxygen-enriched air), and CH3Br and CH2Br2 are produced finally. A catalyst is used in the reaction of dehydrobromination of brominated methane to prepare C3-C13 hydrocarbon. The catalyst is prepared by loading the compounds of Zn or Mg on the molecular sieves such as HZSM-5, HY, Hb, 3A, 4A, 5A or 13X et al.. By using the catalyst, CH3Br and CH2Br2 produced in the process of brominating of methane can react farther.
