动词不定式是非谓语动词的一种。
它的基本形式是“to+动词原形”,有时可以不带to。

动词不定式作主语时置于句首,谓语动词多用单数形式。
当作主语的不定式短语较长时,常用it作形式主语,将真正的主语(动词不定式)放在谓语之后。

(2)动词不定式作宾语。
常见的可接动词不定式作宾语的动词有:want; hope; ask; decide 等。

(3)动词不定式作宾语补足语。
结构为“动词+宾语+to do”。
这样的动词有:ask; teach; want; tell; allow等。
例如:He asked me to come here on time. 他要求我按时到达这里。

注意:有些动词后接不带to的不定式作宾语补足语,如:hear, feel, have, make, see等。
