英语教学设计Module 6 Entertainment(Unit 1 She said China was a very exciting place.)设计教师:顺德区均安镇文田中学黄焕章教学年级:八年级课题名称: Module 6 Entertainment(Unit 1 She said China was a very exciting place.)教材版本:外研版( Book Four)一、学生分析八年级的学生正处于智商、心理和生理成长发育的多变时期,往往表现出好奇心强、喜欢模仿、爱做游戏、热衷唱歌、乐于竞赛、愿意表现、争强好胜等特点。
学生的这一心理特点和认知水平决定了教育者采取知识性与趣味性融和一体的教学策略。
另外,八年级的学生已经掌握了一定的词汇和语法,具有一定的听说能力、理解能力和表达能力,他们对于英语教学中的各种课堂活动形式已比较适应,习惯参加课堂活动,但在课堂活动中可能出现消极依赖的情绪。
因此,师生、生生之间的交流、合作需要进一步加强。
再者,学生英语水平参差不平,因此,课堂提问时需要因人而异,布置作业时要有针对性、层次性、多样性。
二、教材分析Unit1是本模块的第一课时听说课。
本模块以娱乐为话题,对话内容是关于Sally来中国访问演出的情况;对话从听说开始,围绕娱乐方面的话题展开,因此学生会接触很多相关的词汇。
学生要听懂、读懂相关的对话,学习很多直接引语和间接引语间的转换规则。
学生可以通过本模块词汇、语法的学习和听、说、读、写等各方面的训练,提高围绕娱乐这一话题的综合运用语言的能力。

直接引语和间接引语在JEFC教材中初中阶段并没有单独作为一个独立的语法体系加以呈现,是高中要求掌握的一个重点,现在初二阶段就提出来,不管是老师还是学生都感觉到难度较大。
这需要老师很好地设计课堂教学活动。
2.本模块从学生兴趣的话题切入,谈论自己所喜爱的电影、音乐、电视节目等以及名星,在与他人分享的过程中转述他人的话,从而掌握从直接引语向间接引语转变的表达方法及注意点。
二、学情分析:1. 知识基础:由于这一届八年级在七年级时Go for it 教材中已涉及到电影方面的内容,八年级M10也了解了一些相关的东西,但毕竟对电影内容的转述难度较大,相当一部分学生缺少丰富的语言基础和信息积累,所以对某些任务的完成有一定的难度。
2. 思维能力:有较强的记忆力和模仿能力,有待培养知识的扩展运用能力。
3. 认知心理:有较强的求知欲和表现欲,部分学生存在不自信,羞于表现等思想顾虑。
三、语言技能目标1、听:能听懂用间接引语表述的意义。
2、说:能运用间接引语表达对电影以及他人话题的描述。
3、读:能读懂阅读文章,理解语篇主题和细节。

2. the moment等一些表示时间的名词短语也可用来引导时间状语从句:这些名词短语如:the minute, the moment, every time, the first time。
例如:The moment he reached the country, he started his search.他一到达这个国家,就开始他的探寻工作。
Every time I saw the straw hat, it reminded me of the tour I made years before.每当我看到那顶草帽,它就使我想起几年前的那次旅游。
I thought her nice and honest the first time I met her.我第一次见到她就觉得她诚实而友善。
3. directly等一些表示时间的副词也可用来引导时间状语从句。
例如:Directly the master came in, everyone was quiet. 校长一进来,大家就安静下来。
The young lady rushed into the room immediately she heard the noise.那位年轻女士一听到响声就冲进房间。
4. 比较until和till此两个连词意义相同。
肯定形式表示的意思是“做某事直至某时”,动词必须是延续性的。
否定形式表达的意思是“直至某时才做某事”。
动词为延续性或非延续性都可以。
正确使用这两个连词的关键之一就在于判断句中的动词该用肯定式还是否定式。
肯定句:I slept until midnight. 我一直睡到半夜时醒了。
Wait till I call you.等着我叫你。
(在肯定句中可用before代替Let's get in the wheat before the sun sets.)否定句:She didn't arrive until 6 o'clock.她直到6点才到。
Don't get off the bus until it has stopped. 公共汽车停稳后再下车。
I didn't manage to do it until you had explained how.直到你教我后,我才会做。
Until可用于句首,而till通常不用于句首。
例如:Until you told me, I had heard nothing of what happened.直到你告诉我以前,出了什么事我一点也不知道。
Until when 疑问句中,until要放在句首。
---Until when are you staying?你呆到什么时候?--- Until next Monday.呆到下周一。
【注意】:否定句用另外句式表示。
Not until …在句首,主句用倒装。
例如:Not until the early years of the 19th century did man know what heat is.直到19 世纪初,人类才知道热能是什么。
