第一讲：句子副词性从句-----------状语从句（主将从现）分类：时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、让步、方式、比较。

（1）时间状语从句引导词：when/ before/ after/while/as /since/until /till/一---就--- as soon as/ hardly ---when---/ no sooner ---than---/ immediately / directly / instantly / the moment/ the minute / the second / the instant其他：every time，each time , by the time, the first time, the last time, the day /yearE.g.1. We were studying when suddenly the door opened sharply.2.I was about to start when suddenly it began to pour.3.They had just finished the work and were about to have a rest when several wolves approached.4.The train had left before i got to the train station.5. It will be long before he comes back again6. It wasn`t long before he was arrested.7. Tom must be sleeping now for his room is dark.Tom must have left for his coat is gone.5.Seeing that he was only a child, we forgave him.In that---因为、由于attribute to / due to/ for the reason that（4）结果状语从句引导词：so---that---/ such ---that---/ so that---/too ---to ---He studied very hard then, so that he was admitted to a famous university.Jim is so clever a boy that we all like him.Jim is such a clever boy that he could work out the problem very quickly. 除结果状语从句外，too... to...（太……而不能……（肯定句中）、enough to...（达到某种程度可以……（否定和肯定都可以））等不定式结构同样可以表示结果。
