针对Starter Module 2 My English lesson Unit 1 Open your book 的教学,我有以下感受和思考。
一、设计这一课前,我一直困惑于如何在初中课堂完成对Starter部分的教学,使学生既能顺利把小学课程衔接到中学的课程上来,又能不因为都是小学阶段学过的知识点过于简单而感到无聊乏味。
上完这节课,我有了新的思考:在常规英语课堂,教师会在发现学生熟练掌握本课内容后而快速地往下进行,但往往忽略了学生掌握课程内容的扎实性与实用性,如果在掌握课程内容的基础上,更多的设计与学生的生活实际相结合,想必学生对课堂内容的掌握将更加牢固扎实。
比如在本节课刚刚开始上课的环节,通过听读文章上课的问候语之后,正式开始本节课上课的问候,使学生能够在真实情境中感受课文的内容,效果非常好。
二、传统教学中,教师主导地位过于明显,不利于学生自由发挥,尤其是在知识内容非常简单的课程里,往往忽视学生的实际运用。
但是无论课程内容的难易程度如何,巧妙地让学生占据主体地位都会有事半功倍的效果。
比如本节课中,设计游戏的胜利者充当新的“领导者”,虽然这个环节使课堂内容和进程有了不确定性,但却极大地激发了学生的学习热情,反倒成为本节课的亮点,是学生最乐于参与,也是课堂效果最好的环节之一;在课堂最后的情景表演中,学生们也能够正确地运用本课所学创造情境,真正做到了实际运用,从而达到了本课的教学效果。
