五年级下册英语作文写去上海四日游

五年级下册英语作文写去上海四日游全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My 4-Day Adventure in Shanghai!Wow, what an incredible trip to Shanghai! I had been looking forward to this for months and it exceeded all my expectations. Shanghai is the biggest city in China and there was so much to see and do. Let me tell you all about my amazing4-day adventure!Day 1We arrived in Shanghai on a Thursday morning after taking the high-speed train from my hometown. As soon as we got off at the huge railway station, I could feel the energy of the city. The crowds, the sounds, the neon lights...it was all so exciting! Our first stop was the Bund, the famous waterfront area along the Huangpu River. I had seen pictures but it was even more breathtaking in person. The walk along the Bund has stunning views of the futuristic Pudong skyline across the river. We took a cruise boat tour which was the perfect way to admire the modern skyscrapers while relaxing on the water. After the cruise, we walked through the Bund's historical buildings from the 1800s. I felt like I had gone back in time! We had xiaolongbao (delicious soup dumplings) for lunch at a classic Shanghai restaurant. The dumplings were so hot and juicy...simply divine. In the afternoon, we visited Yu Garden, an ancient classical Chinese garden in the old town. I loved wandering the beautiful pavilions, corridors, ponds, and rock formations. It was like stepping into another world of tranquility within the bustling city. For dinner we had fresh seafood at the Fabric Market area. After, we went to the Bund again to see the dazzling night skyline. The bright lights and laser shows were simply mesmerizing!Day 2Our second day was jam-packed with activities! We started at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, one of the best in the country. I was in awe at all the hands-on exhibits about everything from dinosaurs to robotics to spaceexploration. The immersive experiences and 4D movies were my favorite.Next up was the Shanghai Tower, the second tallest building in the world! We took the world's fastest elevator up 118 floors to the observation deck. Looking out over the whole city from up so high was unforgettable. You could even see the rivers and Huangpu Bay in the distance. For lunch, we had amazing xiaolongbao again at a famous restaurant called Fu Garden. I just couldn't get enough of those juicy dumplings! In the afternoon, we went to the Shanghai Disney Resort to visit Disneyland. From riding the thrilling roller coasters to meeting Mickey Mouse himself, it was a dream come true! The night parade and fireworks show at the end was the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable day.Day 3Our third day was all about exploring Shanghai's history and culture. We started at the Shanghai Museum, one of the best museums for ancient Chinese art and artifacts. I was fascinated learning about bronzes, calligraphy, ceramics, jade and so much more from China's rich past. After the museum, we visited the Jade Buddha Temple. The highlight was definitely the two priceless jade Buddha statues, intricately carved and awe-inspiring. The scent of incense, sounds of chanting, and architectural beauty made it a very spiritual experience. We had a traditional Shanghai lunch of xiao chi (small plate dishes) at a neighborhood eatery. My favorites were the shengjianbao (pan-fried dumplings) and congyoubing (springy scallion pancakes)! In the afternoon, we wandered the winding streets and shops of Tianzifang. This renovated residential area from the 1930s has been transformed into a delightful arts district full of boutique shops, cafes, and galleries. It felt like traveling back in time! For dinner, we savored a delicious hot pot meal at a restaurant in Tianzifang. The simmering broth with all the fresh ingredients was so nourishing and comforting.Day 4Our last day in Shanghai was spent at Zhujiajiao Water Town, an ancient canal town about an hour outside the city center. Strolling across the delicate bridges and along the windingwaterways lined with Ming and Qing dynasty buildings was like being transported to another era.I loved exploring all the quaint alleys, canals, gardens, and historic homes. It felt worlds away from the towering skyscrapers of modern Shanghai. We took a relaxing gondola boat ride, admiring all the picturesque views. For lunch, we feasted on fresh local seafood and savory fried river shrimp at a canalside restaurant. The flavors were incredible! On our drive back to Shanghai, I felt a bit sad that our amazing trip was coming to an end. But I was also so grateful to have experienced the wonders of this fascinating city. From cutting-edge technology and architecture to deep cultural heritage, Shanghai truly has something for everyone.I'll never forget the incredible sights, sounds, and flavors from my 4-day Shanghai adventure. I learned so much and made wonderful memories that will last forever. I already can't wait to go back and explore more of what this world-class city has to offer!篇2A Wonderful Trip to ShanghaiLast month, my parents surprised me with a 4-day trip to Shanghai during our spring break! I was so excited because I had never been to such a big city before. We live in a small town, so going to a huge metropolis like Shanghai was going to be an amazing adventure. The first day, we took the high-speed train from our city to Shanghai. It only took a couple of hours, but I loved watching the countryside fly by through the window. When we arrived in Shanghai, I couldn't believe how massive and modern everything looked. The skyscrapers seemed to stretch up forever into the sky!Our hotel was really nice and so tall. From our room on the 28th floor, we had an incredible view overlooking the city. After dropping our bags, we headed straight to the Bund, which is the famous riverfront area in Shanghai. I had seen pictures, but it was even more breathtaking in person. The historic buildings from the 1800s lined one side of the river, while the space-age skyscrapers of Pudong towered across the water. We took a river cruise to see it all up close. The next day, we visited the Yu Garden, which was built over 400 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. The garden wasabsolutely beautiful with its ponds, bridges, pagodas, and rocks intricately arranged. I felt like I had stepped back in time. My favorite part was the Dragon Wall, which had bright colors and amazing sculpted dragons. After the garden, we went to the Shanghai Museum, which had an incredible collection of ancient Chinese art and artifacts. I was blown away by all of the jade sculptures, bronze works, ceramics, calligraphy, and paintings on display from thousands of years ago. Seeing those priceless treasures really made me appreciate how long and rich China's history and culture is.That evening, we went up to the observation deck on the 119th floor of the Shanghai Tower, which is one of the tallest buildings in the world. The view from up there was unbelievable - the entire city stretched out in every direction as far as I could see, with roads, buildings, parks and the winding Huangpu River. It was a bit scary being up so high, but totally worth it.On the third day, we visited the Zhujiajiao water town, which was about an hour outside of downtown Shanghai. It was like stepping back in time to an ancient Chinese village, with little boats floating down the canals and old stone bridges crisscrossing the waterways. The little alleys were lined withtraditional houses, shops and restaurants. We had the most delicious xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) for lunch there. Our final day in Shanghai was spent at the Shanghai Disney Resort. Of course, I was super excited to visit the Disney park and ride all the rides and see the shows. The Tomorrowland section was my favorite, with its sci-fi themed rides and attractions. We ended the night by watching the dazzling fireworks show before sadly heading back to our hotel to pack up.The next morning, we took the train back home feeling exhausted but so happy after our wonderful Shanghai adventure.I have so many amazing memories from our time there - from the incredible skyline to the ancient gardens and the Disney magic. I'll never forget walking along the Bund, riding the world's fastest train, eating incredible food, and seeing all the unbelievable sights. Shanghai is such a fascinating mix of old and new, modern and historic. I feel so lucky that I got to experience it all. I can't wait to go back to Shanghai again someday!篇3My Awesome 4-Day Trip to ShanghaiWow, what an amazing trip to Shanghai! It was the first time I had ever been to such a big and bustling city, and I was soexcited to explore everything it had to offer. My parents, my little sister Lily, and I hopped on a high-speed train from our hometown, and after a few hours of watching the scenery whiz by, we arrived in the heart of Shanghai. Our first stop was the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. As we walked towards it, I couldn't believe how tall it was – it seemed to stretch all the way up to the clouds! We went up to the observation deck, and the view from up there was just breathtaking. I could see the entire city laid out before me, with its skyscrapers, parks, and winding rivers. It was like looking at a huge, intricate model city, except this one was real and full of life. The next day, we visited the Shanghai Museum, which had so many cool artifacts and exhibits about Chinese history and culture. I was fascinated by the ancient bronzes, ceramics, and calligraphy works. My favorite part was the jade gallery, where I saw the most beautiful jade carvings imaginable. They were so delicately carved and polished, it was hard to believe they were made from stone. After the museum, we went to the Bund, which is a famous waterfront area with lots of great shopping and restaurants. We had a delicious lunch of xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and other tasty Shanghai dishes. Then we walked along the Bund, admiring the stunning skyline across the Huangpu River. The buildings looked so sleek and modern, like something out of a science fiction movie. On our third day, we visited the incredible Shanghai Disneyland! It was every kid's dream come true. We went on so many exciting rides, like the TRON Lightcycle Power Run, which was a crazy indoor roller coaster that made me feel like I was in the TRON movie. We also saw the amazing parade and nighttime fireworks show, which was a true spectacle of lights, music, and Disney magic. Our last day in Shanghai was spent at the Yu Garden, which is a beautiful traditional Chinese garden dating back to the 16th century. It was like stepping into a tranquil oasis in the middle of the bustling city. We strolled through the pavilions, ponds, and meticulously trimmed bonsai trees, admiring the intricate designs and peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect way to end our whirlwind trip to Shanghai. As we boarded the train back home, I felt a bit sad to be leaving such an incredible city behind. But I was also so grateful to have had the chance to experience all the wonders of Shanghai. From the towering skyscrapers to the ancient gardens, it was a place like no other. I made so many amazing memoriesthat I'll never forget, and I can't wait to go back someday and explore even more of this fascinating city.篇4A Fantastic Four Days in ShanghaiWow, what an amazing trip to Shanghai! I had been looking forward to our class trip for months, and it ended up being even better than I imagined. Shanghai is such a huge, modern, and exciting city - I loved every minute of our four days there. The journey began bright and early on a Monday morning. We all met at school at 6am to board the tour bus that would take us to Shanghai, about a 3-hour drive from our hometown. I was so excited that I could barely sleep the night before! The bus ride seemed to take forever, but we passed the time playing games, listening to music, and getting to know the students from the other 5th grade class who joined us on the trip. Finally, we arrived in the heart of Shanghai around 10am. The very first thing I noticed were the incredible, futuristic skyscrapers towering all around us. Shanghai has so many tall buildings packed together - it looked like a scene straight out of a science fiction movie! Our tour guide told us that Shanghai is home to over 24 million people, making it one of the biggestcities in the world. Just thinking about that many people living in one place boggled my mind. Our first stop was the Shanghai Tower, one of the tallest buildings in China at over 2,000 feet high. We took an incredibly fast elevator up to one of the observation decks near the top. The views from up there were absolutely breathtaking. You could see the entire city stretching out in all directions, with winding rivers, parks, and those countless skyscrapers. It was hard to believe I was actually in Shanghai when just a few hours earlier I had been back home! After the Shanghai Tower, we had a delicious lunch of classic Shanghai dishes like xiaolongbao soup dumplings, noodles, and more. I tried my best to use chopsticks, but kept dropping food all over the place. Our guide thought it was pretty funny. That afternoon, we visited the amazing Shanghai Museum, which had thousands of years of Chinese art, pottery, calligraphy, and more. I was fascinated learning about ancient Chinese history and culture. My favorite was definitely thejade and bronze collections - the artistry and craftsmanship on those artifacts from centuries ago was mind-blowing.The rest of the day, we walked around the famous Bund waterfront area, taking in views of the modern Pudong skylineacross the river. We also wandered through the Old City area with its narrow alleyways and temples. Shanghai is such a cool mix of cutting-edge modernism and ancient traditions. The next day, we headed to Zhujiajiao, a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai. It was like stepping back in time, with little boats cruising down the canals and historic buildings and bridges lining the shores. We had fun exploring all the little alleyways, watching craftspeople make things by hand, and eating yummy street food. I bought a traditionally painted Chinese fan as a souvenir.Wednesday took us to Shanghai Disneyland, which was a total blast! The park was huge, with sections themed to different Disney stories and movies. I loved exciting rides like the TRON Lightcycle Power Run coaster and Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure. We stayed at the park from opening until late at night, watching the amazing fireworks and light show before heading back to our hotel. Our final day in Shanghai was spent at two of the city's most unique sites. First up was the Shanghai Propaganda Poster Art Centre, which had thousands of vintage propaganda posters and paintings from China's 20th century Communist era. I foundthem fascinating as windows into that period of history, even if the messages were a bit heavy-handed!After that, we went to the highly unusual Tianzifang neighborhood. This village-like area in the heart of Shanghai has been preserved with its narrow lanes and traditional architecture. But today it's filled with trendy boutiques, art galleries, bars, and restaurants. We had fun exploring the maze of alleyways and checking out the unique shops and cafes. All too soon, it was time to head back home on Thursday evening. I was exhausted from all the walking and activities, but also sad that our amazing Shanghai adventure had come to an end. I made so many incredible memories - from the breathtaking views from the Shanghai Tower to the thrilling rides at Disneyland to experiencing 2,000 years of Chinese culture at the museum. Shanghai is unlike anywhere else with its fascinating combination of record-breaking modernity and deep history.I'll never forget these four days. Shanghai showed me what a massive, diverse, and endlessly interesting place the world can be. I can't wait to start exploring more of it on future trips! For now though, I'm just glad to be back home sharing stories andmemories of Shanghai with my family. What an unforgettable experience.篇5Title: My Exciting Four-Day Adventure in Shanghai!Hello, everyone! My name is Emily, and I'm a fifth-grader at Sunshine Elementary School. Recently, I had the opportunity to go on an amazing four-day trip to Shanghai with my parents and classmates. It was an unforgettable experience, filled with new sights, sounds, and flavors. Let me share all the exciting details with you!On the first day, we arrived in Shanghai after a two-hour flight from our hometown. As soon as we stepped out of the airport, I was struck by the bustling energy of this vibrant city. Towering skyscrapers reached for the clouds, and the streets were teeming with people hurrying to their destinations. Our tour guide, Mr. Wang, greeted us with a warm smile and led us to our hotel. After settling in, we headed straight to the iconic Bund, a famous waterfront area along the Huangpu River. I marveled at the stunning contrast between the historic buildings on one side and the ultra-modern skyline of Pudong on the other. We took aleisurely stroll along the promenade, soaking in the sights and sounds of this mesmerizing city. The next day was filled with even more excitement! We visited the Yu Garden, a beautifully preserved traditional Chinese garden dating back to the 16th century. The intricate pavilions, zigzag bridges, and tranquil ponds transported me back in time. I felt like a character in one of the ancient Chinese stories we had read in class. After exploring the garden, we made our way to the Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China and thesecond-tallest in the world. The elevator ride to the observation deck was an exhilarating experience, and the panoramic views from the top were simply breathtaking. I could see the entire city stretching out before me like a vast, shimmering tapestry. On the third day, we visited the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, which was a real highlight for me. I'm fascinated by science and technology, and this museum did not disappoint. We saw interactive exhibits on space exploration, robotics, and cutting-edge inventions. I even got to try out a virtual reality simulation, which was incredible! In the evening, we attended an amazing acrobatic show at the Shanghai Circus World. The performers were incrediblyskilled, performing daring feats of strength, balance, and flexibility. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, mesmerized by their talent and grace. Our final day in Shanghai was dedicated to shopping and trying out the local cuisine. We visited the bustling Nanjing Road, where we browsed through countless shops and sampled delicious street food. I tried everything from steamed dumplings to candied hawthorn on a stick. My taste buds were dancing with joy!As our trip came to an end, I felt a bittersweet mix of emotions. I was sad to leave this incredible city but also grateful for the memories and experiences I had gained. Shanghai had truly captured my heart with its vibrant blend of ancient traditions and modern wonders.Looking back, this trip was more than just a vacation – it was an opportunity to expand my horizons, learn about a different culture, and create unforgettable memories with my family and friends. I can't wait to share more stories and photos with everyone when I return to school.Thank you, Shanghai, for an adventure I'll cherish forever!篇6A Wonderful 4-Day Trip to Shanghai!Wow, what an amazing trip to Shanghai! My mom, dad, little sister Lily, and I just got back home after spending four fun-filled days exploring one of China's most exciting cities. I had been looking forward to this vacation for months, and it did not disappoint! Our journey began bright and early last Thursday morning. We woke up at 5am to catch our high-speed train from Beijing to Shanghai. Even though it was super early, I could barely sleep the night before because I was so excited. The train ride took about 5 hours, but it went by really fast since I spent most of the time watching movies, playing games, and looking out the window at the beautiful countryside whizzing by.When we finally arrived in Shanghai around noon, the first thing I noticed was how different it looked from Beijing. The buildings seemed even taller and more modern. Our hotel was right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of some of Shanghai's most famous sites like the Bund, Nanjing Road, and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. After dropping our bags off, we headed straight out to start exploring. Our first stop was the Bund, the iconic waterfront area along the Huangpu River. I had seen pictures before, but it was evenmore breathtaking in person! The path was lined with dozens of historic buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s when Shanghai was the center of trade in China. Across the river, we could see the city's incredible futuristic skyline, including the twisting Shanghai Tower which is one of the tallest buildings in the world. We spent a couple hours just walking along the Bund, taking pictures, and soaking in the amazing views. After working up an appetite, we made our way to the Yuyuan Garden area which has endless maze-like streets packed with shops and restaurants. For dinner, we had some of the most delicious xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) I've ever tasted at this famous place called Nan Xiang Steamed Bun Restaurant. The dumplings were so juicy and flavorful - I must have eaten at least 15 of them! The next day, we got up early again to visit one of Shanghai's top attractions - the incredible Shanghai Disney Resort! From the moment we entered the gates, I felt like I had stepped into a real-life fairytale. The different themed lands like Mickey Avenue, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland were all so beautifully constructed with incredible detail and creativity. We spent the whole day bouncing between rides, shows, stores, and restaurants, barely scratching the surface of everything there wasto do and see. My favorite rides were the TRON Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster and Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure boat ride. The stunning nighttime fireworks and light show was the perfect way to end such a magical experience. On our third day, we switched gears to do some more educational and cultural activities. In the morning, we toured the excellent Shanghai Museum which had amazing exhibits covering ancient Chinese art, furniture, jade, ceramics, and more. Seeing artifacts and artworks that were thousands of years old really made me appreciate China's incredibly rich history and culture. After the museum, we headed to the Xintiandi area which used to be an old residential neighborhood that has been beautifully preserved and renovated. We wandered around the charming alleys lined with traditional shikumen houses and stopped for a tasty lunch of noodles and dumplings at a lovely courtyard restaurant. My favorite part was seeing the shikumen "longdang" houses with the unique stone arched doors and brick carvings. For our final day in Shanghai, we went to check out the city's impressive skyscrapers and otherworldly architecture. We took a walk along the Huangpu River Waterfront in the Lujiazui area toget a up-close look at the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and other space-age towers. The buildings' curved glass facades and unique shapes were like nothing I had ever seen before - it felt like we were in a futuristic science fiction movie! The highlight was going up to the observation decks at the top of the World Financial Center for 360 degree views of the entire city skyline. After four jam-packed days of touring, my brain and camera were completely full from all the incredible things we experienced in Shanghai. From the historic Bund to the glitzy skyscrapers to the wonderful food and culture, this city truly has something for everyone. I feel so lucky that I got to visit such an amazing place at a relatively young age. Shanghai, I will definitely be back again someday!。

蟹黄汤包英语作文

蟹黄汤包英语作文

蟹黄汤包英语作文Possible essay:Crispy on the outside, savory and creamy on the inside, the crab roe soup dumpling is a popular delicacy in Shanghai and beyond. Here, I'll introduce this tasty treat and share some of my own experiences with it.What is a crab roe soup dumpling?A crab roe soup dumpling, also known as a xiaolongbao (小笼包) or soup dumpling, is a type of steamed bun filled with minced meat and soup. Traditionally, the filling contains pork, but some variations use chicken, beef, shrimp, or vegetables. The soup is made by simmering crab roe, chicken, and ham for several hours and then chillingit until it solidifies. The soup jelly is then mixed with the meat filling and wrapped in a thin dough wrapper, which is pleated and steamed in a bamboo basket. When cooked, the soup melts and blends with the meat, creating a burst of flavor in the mouth. How does it taste?A well-made crab roe soup dumpling should have several key characteristics: a thin yet sturdy wrapper that doesn't break easily, a balanced ratio of meat and soup, a rich and umami broth, and a tender and juicy filling. The soupshould not be too salty or greasy, nor should it overwhelm the meat. The filling should have a good texture and flavor, with some variations adding ginger, scallions, or sesameoil for extra aroma. Overall, the taste of a crab roe soup dumpling is both comforting and exciting, as you savor the warm and smooth broth and the meaty and fragrant filling.Where can you find it?Crab roe soup dumplings are widely available in Shanghai, as well as in other parts of China and the world. Some famous places to try include Din Tai Fung, Jia Jia Tang Bao, Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant, and Yang's Fry Dumplings. However, there are also many local shops and street vendors that sell tasty and affordable xiaolongbao, so don't be afraid to explore and discover your own favorites. What are some tips for eating it?Eating a crab roe soup dumpling can be tricky, as the soup inside is hot and can spill out if you're not careful. Here are some tips to enjoy it safely and fully:1. Use chopsticks and a spoon. Hold the dumpling with your chopsticks at the top, near the pleats, and gentlylift it from the basket. Place it on a spoon, which you can use to support it and catch any soup that spills out.2. Bite a small hole on the side. Use your teeth or a small fork to poke a hole on the side of the dumpling, where the soup is concentrated. Sip the soup slowly and enjoy its flavor and warmth.3. Dip it in soy sauce and vinegar. Mix some soy sauce and vinegar in a small dish and dip the dumpling in it before eating. This adds some tanginess and saltiness to the taste.4. Eat it while it's hot. Soup dumplings are best enjoyed when they're still steaming and fresh, so don't wait too long to eat them. Be careful not to burn your mouth, though!

1Unit 3 - A Dusty WorldAs a fifth grader, I found Unit 3 in our English textbook to be really interesting! The whole unit is about the environment and pollution, which are such important topics nowadays. It made me think a lot about how my daily actions affect the world around me.The first part talked about air pollution, which I see evidence of often living in a big city. I remember learning vocabulary words like "smog", "exhaust fumes", and "haze" to describe polluted air. The readings taught me that smog is caused by things like factories and car emissions mixing together. It can be really dangerous to breathe in over a long period of time.I felt sad reading about the air pollution problems in some Chinese cities like Beijing. The article described how there are many days when the sky is totally gray from all the dirty particles in the air. People there have to wear face masks just to gooutside. That must make it hard to breathe deeply or play outdoors. I'm so glad the air quality seems better where I live.Next, we learned about water pollution. This topic was very visual with the pictures of lakes and oceans filled with trash and toxic chemicals. It hurt to see images of marine animals caught in plastic waste or coated in oil spills. I had no idea how much pollution ends up in the water supply that way.The readings taught me that even something as seemingly harmless as washing liquid detergent down the drain can contaminate whole water systems. Chemicals, trash, and microplastics can pollute waters and endanger countless species, disrupting the entire food chain. It makes me want to be much more careful about what gets washed down drains or thrown on the ground.Land pollution was the final subtopic, covering things like deforestation, desertification, and landfills. The images of barren landscapes and overflowing trash dumps were startling. Learning that an area of forest the size of a soccer field is destroyed every second was a real wake-up call. All that waste has to go somewhere, and landfills are becoming overfilled and attracting vermin.I felt really impacted by the facts about how long it takes certain objects to decompose - a plastic bottle could last 450 years in a landfill! It seems crazy that trash from mygreat-grandparents' time could theoretically still be intact. It is easy to feel like one person's actions don't make a difference, but this unit showed how even small lifestyle changes like reducing, reusing, and recycling can have a big collective impact.Overall, Unit 3 drove home how human activities have damaged the planet through air, water, and land pollution. I feel lucky to be learning these lessons while still in elementary school. With knowledge of the causes and consequences of pollution, my generation can hopefully take steps towards living more sustainably.Through the readings and activities, I realized how interconnected the environment is - polluting the air harms water sources, deforestation leads to more air pollution, plastic waste hurts marine ecosystems, and so on. Humans rely on clean resources too, so protecting the environment protects our own health and future as well.I'm motivated to do my part by wasting less food and consumer goods, walking or biking instead of driving short distances, picking up litter, and more. At school, maybe we couldlook into getting more recycling bins in the cafeteria or classrooms. I want to start paying more attention to ingredients in household products and make eco-friendly choices. Every little bit adds up when multiplied by humanity. The facts and photos about the state of the planet were upsetting at times, but I'm glad to be learning about these issues now. It's a huge priority to raise awareness about environmental threats like pollution while we still have time to make changes. I hope units like this inspire my classmates and me to be environmental stewards so we can leave behind a healthier world for future generations. We owe it to the planet to do better.篇2My Favorite Place in ShanghaiShanghai is a huge city with so many cool places to visit. There are tall skyscrapers, ancient temples, awesome museums, and bustling markets all over. But my absolute favorite place in all of Shanghai has to be the Bund! The Bund is this long strip of buildings and walkways right along the Huangpu River. On one side you've got all these old Western-style buildings that used to be banks and trading companies from back when Shanghai was the biggest financialcenter in Asia. These buildings are so pretty with their stone walls, big pillars, green dome roofs, and clock towers. I love looking closely at all the little details and decorations carved into the stonework. My dad told me the architectural style is called "Gothic Revival" whatever that means! On the other side of the wide pedestrian path is the river itself. You can look right across and see the mind-blowing skyscrapers of Pudong like the gigantic Oriental Pearl TV Tower that looks like a bright pink spaceship landed in the middle of the city! At night everything is lit up with colorful lights reflecting off the dark water. Sometimes there are even cool light shows projected onto the sides of the huge towers. Me and my friends think it looks like something straight out of a futuristic sci-fi movie! The Bund is always packed with people strolling up and down, taking photos, eating snacks from the street vendors, or just chilling on the benches and grassy areas. There are tons of performers out too like dancers, musicians, martial artists, and even weird golden human statue guys pretending to be frozen! I saw one of those human statues get so startled by a tiny little yappy dog that he jumped nearly a meter in the air and startedshouting...that had me and my buddies rolling on the ground laughing so hard.My favorite thing to do at the Bund is to get a kite from one of the street sellers. The wide open area along the river is perfect for kite flying with the breeze coming off the water. I have this awesome delta-shaped kite with a long bright tail that streams out behind it when it catches the wind. Sometimes if the conditions are just right, I can get it way way up there hundreds of meters high! My arms get so tired after hauling that thing up and down for a couple hours.Another cool part about the Bund is all the fun foods you can find. There are little street carts everywhere selling things like grilled squid and crab on a stick, coconut milk and red bean icy treats, juicy xiaolongbao soup dumplings, and my personal favorite - those crispy jianbing stuffed crepes! I could seriously eat like 5 of those jianbings they're so crunchy and delicious, especially with lots of sauce and chopped scallions stuffed inside. My mom doesn't let me have too many though since they're kind of greasy.Sometimes if we go in the morning, my parents will take me to the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel that goes underwater under the river over to Pudong. You buy a ticket then get in these funkylittle pod-shaped train cars that shoot through this trippy glowing tunnel filled with weird laser light shows, wacky moving sculptures, and loud sci-fi sound effects playing over the speakers. It's honestly kind of freaky but in a fun way, like you're going through a time warp or inter-dimensional portal or something! When you come out the other side in Pudong, it'slik you've been transported to a totally different galaxy with all the crazy futuristic skyscrapers towering above you.At night the Bund area is just magical. All the old buildings are lit up with golden lights making them look warm and glowing. There are usually street performers and live musicians out playing everything from traditional Chinese instruments to hip hop and rock music. You've got tons of people out eating and chatting at all the outdoor restaurants and cafes that line the riverfront. Some nights there are even big fireworks shows going off over the Huangpu River which lights up the whole sky in a bazillion colors - it's just breathtaking!I could honestly spend every single day just hanging out at the Bund and never get bored. Whether I'm flying a kite, munching on street snacks, watching funny performers, or just strolling along the water looking at all the incredible architecture on both sides...there's always something new and exciting to seeand do. That's why the Bund will forever be my happy place in the heart of Shanghai! I feel so lucky to live in a city with such a amazingly vibrant and historic spot right in the center of it all. Hopefully I'll be able to keep visiting this special place for many many years to come.篇3Unit 3: A Day in the LifeHey there! It's me again, your friendly neighborhood 5th grader. Today I want to tell you all about Unit 3 in our English textbook. The name of the unit is "A Day in the Life" and it's all about daily routines and schedules. Pretty exciting stuff, right? Well, maybe not the most thrilling topic ever, but I've got to admit, I actually learned some really cool things! The first lesson was called "Getting Up" and it taught us vocabulary for things we do in the morning like brush our teeth, take a shower, get dressed, and have breakfast. The readings were about kids from different countries and their morning routines. I thought it was neat to see how kids my age live in other parts of the world. Then we had a lesson on "Going to School." This one covered vocab for school subjects, school supplies, andclassroom objects. We read about the school day for a student in England. Their days are pretty long – they have to wear uniforms and they don't get out until 4pm! No thanks, I'll take my 3pm dismissal anyday.Up next was "Afterschool Activities." Finally, a topic I can get excited about! We learned words for different hobbies, sports, clubs, and games kids like to do when they get home from school. My favorite was the dialogue about the girl who did taekwondo and had a medal competition coming up. I'd love to try a martial art someday. We wrapped up the unit with "Bedtime Routines." This was kind of the morning routine lessons but in reverse. We covered vocab like put on pajamas, brush teeth (again!), read stories, and get tucked in. The reading talked about kids in Mexico and their bedtime habits. I personally prefer to read comics before bed rather than stories, but to each their own!In addition to the vocabulary and readings, we also did a ton of practice exercises. We'd have to unscramble sentences, fill in blanks, answer comprehension questions, and stuff like that. It helped reinforce everything we were learning in each lesson. The projects for this unit were pretty fun too. We had to write out our personal daily schedule from when we wake up towhen we go to bed. Then we made picture dictionaries for morning, school, after school, and bedtime vocabulary. We also did a fun class survey about our favorite hobbies and made bar graphs to show the results.Overall, I'd say Unit 3 was a success. I know a bunch of new words related to daily routines and schedules now. And even though the topic wasn't the most riveting on paper, I thought the readings and projects made it interesting to learn about how kids in different countries spend their days.My biggest takeaway? I'm really glad I don't have to wear a uniform or go to school until 4pm like that kid from England! Give me my 3pm dismissal, some taekwondo lessons, and plenty of time for reading comics before bed and I'm a happy camper. Alright, that's all I've got for you on "A Day in the Life." Let me know if you have any other questions! Until next time, happy studies!。

想吃小龙虾的作文英语

想吃小龙虾的作文英语

想吃小龙虾的作文英语I have always had a weakness for seafood, but there is one dish in particular that I just can't resist – spicy crayfish. Known as "小龙虾" in Chinese, these delicious crustaceans are a popular delicacy in many parts of China, especially during the summer months. The first time I tried crayfish was at a street food stall in Shanghai. The aroma of the spices wafted through the air, drawing me in like a moth to a flame. As I watched the vendor toss the crayfish in a wok with garlic, ginger, and chili peppers, my mouth watered in anticipation. When the crayfish were finally ready, I eagerly grabbed a pair of chopsticks and dug in. The first bite was a revelation – the tender meat was infused with the flavors of the spices, creating a symphony of taste in my mouth. I couldn't stop eating, my fingers quickly becoming stained with the red chili oil.Since that day, I have been hooked on crayfish. Whenever I have a craving for something spicy and savory, I head to a local restaurant that specializes in this dish. The sight of the bright red shells piled high on a plate never fails to make my mouth water. There is something about crayfish that is so satisfying – the act of cracking open the shells to reveal the succulent meat inside, the spicy broth that coats your fingers and lips, the feeling of contentment that washes over you as you savor each bite. It's a truly unique dining experience that I can't get enough of.In addition to being delicious, crayfish are also a nutritious choice. They are low in calories and fat, but high in protein and essential nutrients like vitamins B12 and E. This makes them a guilt-free indulgence that I can enjoy without worrying about my waistline. In conclusion, I will never tire of eating crayfish. Whether it's at a street food stall in Shanghai or a fancy restaurant in Beijing, I will always be on the lookout formy next fix of this delectable dish. The combination of spicy flavors, tender meat, and satisfying crunch makes crayfish a culinary delight that I will never say no to.。
