随着科技的发展,机器人在人们的生产与生活中扮演着越来越重要的角色,而机器人研究也从传统的结构环境下的应用研究中走出来,逐渐向崎岖山地、狭窄管道、沙漠环境和楼梯攀爬等非结构环境下的实际应用拓展[1]。
与传统机器人相较,蛇形机器人因其独特的运动形式和身体结构,在国内外得到了广泛研究[2-7],并取得了丰硕成果。
日本东京大学的Hirose 教授最早提出Serpenodi 曲线,并研制了第一台蛇形机器人样机[1]。
德国Kral.L.Paap 研制了由橡胶关节组成的四驱动蛇形机器人GMD-snakel [8],可以在各个方向上灵活运动。
美国NASA 在卡耐基梅隆大学(CMU )的学习蛇形机器人[9]的基础上,研制了可以实现多种运动的机器人Snakebots 。
在国内,上海交通大学的崔显世、颜国正于1999年3月开发了我国第一台蛇形机器人样机[1,10]。
中科院沈阳自动化研究所也对蛇形机器人开展了一系列研究,发表了关于控制理论、结构设计、模型仿真等多项成果[11-14]。
可见,国内目前的研究成果大多集中于蛇形机器人的结构设计和运动控制理论研究。
本文着眼于新型蛇形机器人的机构特点,重点分析被动轮式蛇形机器人在蜿蜒运动形式下的动力学特性,运用插值思想,通过实验验证该理论在实际场景下的正确性。
1 理论基础1.1 蜿蜒运动步态推导生物蛇具有多种运动方式,包括蜿蜒运动、直线运动、收缩运动、侧向运动以及螺旋运动等。
日本的Hirose 教授在大量观测生物蛇运动后,最早提出了Serpenoid 曲线(如图1所示),并通过蛇形机器人证明了蜿蜒运动具有运动效率高和波形连续的特点。
