To avoid the negative effects of the moist, rooms should be well ventilated. This can be achieved as follows:1. Opening the window completely for a few minutes every day2. Put it in a tilt position for a longer time3. Install a Ventalis (intelligent ventilation grid) on top of the window/sliding system forcontinuous controlled ventilation.5.2 VentilatiOn and climate cOntrOl1. To avoid loss of heating energy long-term uncontrolled draught should be avoided.Putting the window on a tilt position during winter time is therefore not recommended. 2. Short term maximal ventilation of the room, by opening the window completely, has lesseffect on the heat loss and is preferred above long term, uncontrolled ventilation.3. Controlled ventilation with Ventalis defines a maximal airflow trough the grid and closesoff automatically with high wind pressures to avoid drought. Positioned in the dry areas of the home (bedroom, living room), fresh air flows in. Typically the bathroom and kitchen have extractors that pull the fresh air trough the house and push the moist air outside. This Ventalis solution provides fresh air all day/night long, limits the heat loss whileoffering a secure solution (anti burglary).6. recOmmendatiOnS。

STRING REPLACEMENTStrings will deteriorate over time, causing buzzing or inaccurate pitch. Replace the strings whenever your strings begin to rust or become discolored. We recommend that you replace all of the strings as a set at the same time. Bent, twisted, or damaged strings will not produce the appropriate quality sound and therefore should not be used.Wind the string around the tuning machine post two or threetimes, making sure to wind from top to bottom. Wind about 5–7cm of string for guitar and 8–10 cm for bass. Do not wind thestring on top of itself. The strings should be replaced one by oneinstead of removing all the strings at once. This is done to avoid stress on the neck and to reduce the riskof affecting tremolo balance.※The method for removing and installing strings attached to a tremolo/bridge will differ depending on the type of tremolo/bridge. For details, refer to the section for the tremolo/bridge installed on your guitar. Visit our web site () for details.TUNINGWhen shipped from the factory, Ibanez guitars are set up using the following tunings.■Guitar1st2nd3rd4th5th6th7th8th9th6-strings E B G D A E---7-strings E B G D A E B--8-strings D#A#F#C#G#D#A#F-9-strings E B G D A E B F#C#■Bass1st2nd3rd4th5th6th4-strings G D A E--5-strings G D A E B-6-strings C G D A E BThere are exceptions to some models. Visit our web site () for details.Use a tuner or tuning fork to tune up the sound of each open string to the above frequencies. If the pitch is higher than the above frequency, loosen the string to lower the pitch, and wind the string in small increments to tune it up. This is an easy way to stabilize your tuning. You may need to adjust the neck or the intonation if you tune your guitar to pitches other than those shown in these tables, or if you use strings of other than standard gauge.Memo• Please note that extreme tuning or use of strings not intended for electric guitar may cause parts to break, and may cause unexpected injury.STRING HEIGHTAction refers to the distance between the frets and the string. To measure the action, tune the guitar accurately; then place a ruler at the 14th fret and measure the distance from the top of the fret to the bottom of the string.and 2.0 mm--2.2 mm for the sixth string. For a seven-string guitar, the seventh string should be at 2.2 mm--2.4 mm. For eight-string and nine string guitar, the eight string should be at 2.4mm--2.6mm.For bass, there should be about 2.0 mm at the 12th fret for the high strings and about 2.5 mm for the low strings for typical playability. For strings other than those listed above, adjust the action so that the distance gradually increases from string buzz, muted notes, or poor sustain. If you experience string buzz or muted notes even when the action is adjusted correctly, you might need to adjust the neck bow.The method of adjusting the action will depend on the type of tremolo/bridge with which your guitar is equipped. For details, refer to the appropriate tremolo/bridge section. For the bridges with stud lock function, make sure that the stud locks are released before you adjust the height.Visit our web site () for details.NECK ADJUSTMENTonly by the state of tuning and the string gauge, but also by changes in temperature and humidity. If you experience problems such as string buzz or muted notes even after the action and tuning are adjusted correctly, you should check and adjust the curvature of the neck.1. C heck the curvature of the neck. After tuningaccurately, hold the guitar in playing position. also at the fret that is nearest to the point wherethe neck joins the body, and measure the gap between the string and fret at the eighth fret In the same way, measure this gap for the lowest string, and make adjustments so that the gaps are in the range of 0.3 mm--0.5 mm.2. I f the gap is less than 0.3 mm, use a hex keywrench or socket wrench included with the guitar to turn the truss rod nut located at the headstock end of the neck or at the base of the neck in direction ‘A ’, causing the neckcurvature to be more concave.3. If the gap is greater than 0.5 mm, turn a hexkey wrench or socket wrench in direction ‘B’, causing the neck curvature to be more convex.※Adjust the truss rod nut in small increments of a quarter turn, checking the tuning while you do so.Memo• You must take care when adjusting the neck.Forced adjustments can damage your guitar. If you are unable to adjust the neck correctly, please contact your dealer or the Ibanez Corporation.INTONATIONIf you’ve changed string gauges or are using your guitar with an alternative tuning, you’ll need to adjust the string length (intonation) to ensure that the correct pitch is sounded at all frets. After tuning your guitar accurately, hold the guitar in playing position and compare the pitch of each string pressed down at the 12th fret with the pitch of the harmonic played at the 12th fret.If the pitch of the fretted note at the 12th fret is lower than the harmonic at that fret, move the saddle of the tremolo/bridge forward to shorten the string. Conversely, if the pitch of the fretted note is higher than the pitch of the harmonic, move the saddle backward to lengthen the string.※Use a tuning meter to ensure accurate intonation adjustments.※The method of adjusting the saddle position will differ depending on the installed model of tremolo/bridge. For details, refer to the section for the tremolo/bridge that’s installed on your guitar.Visit our web site () for details.CLEANINGAfter playing, wipe sweat and oil off metal parts such as the underside of the strings, the frets, bridge saddles and n ut. T his w ill h elp t o p revent r ust. D irt o r d ust t hat adheres to metal parts may adversely affect their function.Wipe off stubborn dirt with a soft cloth moistened with a small amount of oil.To clean the finished surface, do not use volatile or abrasive cleaning compounds; instead gently wipe using a soft cloth with polish formulated specifically for musical instruments. To clean off dirt that has adhered to an oil finished body or neck, use a pencil eraser, fine sandpaper of #1000 or finer grade, or #0000 steel wool. You can prevent drying by polishing once or twice a year with a colorless furniture finish oil or gun oil applied to #0000 steel wool or a cloth. Unfinished fingerboards should be carefully wiped with a clothfingerboard oil or high-quality lemon oil, wiping carefully to the edge of the frets. If the tremolo arm should squeak when turning, apply some grease to the notch on the shorter side of the tremolo arm.BATTERYIf your guitar has a built-in pre-amplifier or equalizer, it will be powered by a battery.Replace the battery when you notice that the volume level has decreased or the sound has become distorted. Some models use a 006P (9V) battery, and other models use two AA (1.5V) batteries.Check the type of batteries used by your guitar, and replace them with the same type of batteries. The batteries are found in the battery box located on the back of the body.On models equipped with a battery, the output jack also functions as a power switch; inserting a plug into the jack will turn on the power.Memo• To prevent the battery from running down, remove the plug from the output jack if you will not be using it for an extended period.。

This instrument has eight calibration scales enabling the user to take accurate moisture measurements in 150 wood species. Moisture measurements can be taken using the integral pin electrodesor by using the heavy-duty moisture probe. When used with the tem-perature probe the moisture measurements are automatically corrected with respect to the ambient temperature. This instrument is switched ON by pressing the button and switched OFF by pressing the buttonfor approx 3 seconds. The default auto power-off for this instrument is 5 minutes but can be set manually (see auto power-off set-up).Taking a MeasurementRemove the cap to expose the needle electrodes or connect the heavy-duty moisture probe on the right hand side of this instrument and switch the instrument on by pressing the button. Select the appropriate wood calibration scale (A, B, C, E, F, G, H or J) by referring to the enclosed wood calibration table (see calibration table for wood and common timber species) and by pressing the button. Push the needle pins or the heavy-duty moisture probe pins into the wood and observe the reading in the LCD display.Measuring Without Temperature ProbeThis instrument is calibrated for wood at 20°C (68°F). In general, timber that is hotter than 20°C will give higher readings and timber colder than 20°C will give lower readings. An approximate manual correction of 0.5% moisture content per 5°C may be subtracted from timber that is above 20°C. For timber that is below 20°C, a manual correction of 0.5% mois-ture content per 5°C may be added to the measured value. Automatically Temperature Corrected (ATC)Switch the instrument ON and select the appropriate wood calibration scale as detailed in ‘Taking a Measurement’. Using a hammer and nail of nominal 3mm diameter, make a hole in the wood to be tested. Remove the nail and push the temperature probe into the hole until the tip is at the required depth.continued ...Connect the temperature probe into the instrument via the temp socket. Using the instrument to measure timber you can obtain the automati-cally temperature corrected (ATC) moisture value. If you need to readthe current temperature of the timber press the button, then the LCD will display the temperature. Press the button again and the LCD will display the other °C or °F temperature. Press the button and the LCD will display the moisture value again.Auto Power-Off Set-upTo change the default auto power-off times press the and buttonstogether. Hold the button and press the button to change the auto power-off time (to either disable the auto power-off or to set it from 1 to 9 minutes) by changing the code.0 disables the auto power-off function, 1 sets the instrument to auto power-off in one minute, 2 sets it to two minutes, 3 to three minutes, and respectfully up to 9 for nine minutes for the instrument to auto power-off. Calibration CheckThere are two checked calibrators in the cap of this instrument. When checking the calibration, the A scale should be selected and the tempera-ture probe must be disconnected. Use the needle to touch the two polesof calibrator. If correctly calibrated, the instrument will register %H2Ovalues in the range 17.7 to 18.3 (at the “T” calibration) and in the range 25.5 to 26.5 (at “B” calibration). If the range is over +/-1 the Instrument can’t accurately measure the moisture of timber. Open the back cover and adjust the rheostat to make the tolerance meet the range.Care and MaintenanceWhen the instrument is not in use, keep it in its pouch together with its accessories. Store the kit in a stable, dust-free environment out of direct sunlight. Remove the batteries from the instrument if it is to be stored for periods of more than one month, or when the battery symbol appears on the display. Be sure to check the condition of the accessories used with this instrument on a regular basis and replace them if they become worn or damaged.Calibration Table for WoodThe calibration data in the below table is based on standard tests by oven drying commercial samples of the various wood species, between 7% and fiber saturation. Above fiber saturation point (25%-30%) readings are approximate and only generally apply to wood that has been dried andre-hydrated. Readings higher by 1%-2% may be obtained where wood has been impregnated with a water-borne preservative. High readings obtained with some plywood of peculiar composition must be treated with caution. 预定指南中的英文单词Ah, the "Reservation Guide" - a tome so revered, it's almost as if it were a sacred scripture of the travel world. But fear not, dear reader, for I shall break down the mystic jargon into a tale of laughter and learning.Picture this: You're a weary traveler, lugging yourtrusty backpack through the bustling streets of a foreign land. You've got a hankering for a cozy nook to rest your weary head, but alas, you're faced with the daunting task of deciphering the cryptic language of the "Reservation Guide." Fear not, for I am here to be your guide through the land of "Check-ins," "No-shows," and "Non-refundable Policies."First up, let's tackle the "Check-in." This isn't afriendly wave to the concierge; it's the sacred moment when you present your weary self and your identification to the hotel gods and are granted access to your temporary sanctuary. It's like saying, "Here I am, weary and ready. Grant me the keys to my humble abode."Now, let's chuckle at the "No-show." This term isn't referring to a magician who failed to appear at the local tavern's talent night. It's the unfortunate label given to those who, for reasons unknown, decide not to grace their reserved room with their presence. It's like being stood upby a date, but instead of a romantic dinner, you're left with an empty hotel room and a hefty bill. And who could forget the "Non-refundable Policy"? This is the hotel's way of saying, "We're serious about your commitment, and if you bail, we're keeping your money." It's like buying a ticket to the hottest concert in town, only to realize you can't go and must eat the cost of the ticket. But hey, at least you can brag to your friends about the show you could've seen. But wait, there's more! Let's not forget the "Late Check-out," which is like asking for an extra scoop of ice cream after you've already enjoyed your sundae. It's not guaranteed, but if you're lucky, you might get to linger a bit longer in your room, soaking up those precious moments of relaxation. And finally, the "Upgrade," which is like finding atwenty-dollar bill in your pocket that you didn't know was there. It's the unexpected delight of being offered a better room for the same price, making your stay feel like you'vehit the jackpot. So there you have it, dear traveler. The "Reservation Guide" is no longer a cryptic puzzle but a delightful journey through the world of hotel speak. Now go forth, book your stay, and may your pillow be ever soft and your dreams beever sweet. And remember, when in doubt, just ask - there'sno such thing as a silly question, only opportunities formore laughter and learning.。
