本课时,我们将进行Self-assessment。通过:1.单项选择2..汉译英等训练掌握和巩固本单元所学知识点以及语法现象。老师可以根据教学实际情况来对这些试题加以选择。
Task Writing
本课时是写作课,内容为学习writing about interesting food experiences。引导学生用对话形式演绎阅读课课文,然后模仿其语篇结构、尽量运用课文中学到的词语、结构和话题模式,用说明文体介绍自己熟悉和喜爱的食物。
精选背诵范文说明
本文与模块内容有关,讲述了中国饮食概况。其中包括许多有用的语言知识和语法现象。供学生朗读,背诵或默写之用。
INTRODUCTION Vocabulary and reading和READING AND VOCABULARY合并为第一课时“阅读课”。课文“Two experiences of food”属记叙文体,介绍了外国食物的一些情况。在学生课前自学、预习的基础上,以背景介绍导入新课,然后采取“自上而下”的阅读教学模式,引导学生关注文章的篇章结构、段落大意,得出课文结构,进行“信息转换”,理解全文、复述意义。可以参考“教学资源”The Analysis of the Difficult Sentences from Module 1中的材料,帮助学生解决字、词、句等方面的问题。通过一些有关食物的成语来进行Warming up部分。为方便阅读我们还设计了词汇练习题。阅读部分,首先通过问答引入新课,然后快速阅读和精读。本部分表格和填空来帮助阅读,强化记忆,读后摘出重点词汇短语,以便复述课文。

把Speaking and writing, Listening and speaking,和Everyday English整合在一起上一节听说课。

将Introduction与Reading and Vocabulary放在一起上一节阅读课。Cultural Corner和reading practice部分可以作为学生的课外阅读材料。

Background information部分首先介绍了英国早餐,中国快餐以及美国的节食风,然后介绍世界食物,美国食物及外卖。学好语言,就要充分了解所讲语言国家的文化。

第一部分
教学设计说明
外国西餐菜单上有四或五大分类,其分别是开胃菜、汤、沙拉、海鲜、肉类、点心等。应先决定主菜。主菜如果是鱼,开胃菜就选择肉类,在口味上就比较富有变化。除了食量特别大的外,其实不必从菜单上的单品菜内配出全餐,只要开胃菜和主菜各一道,再加一份甜点就够了。可以不要汤,或者省去开胃菜,这也是很理想的组合(但在意大利菜中,意大利面被看成是汤,所以原则上这两道菜不一起点)。上主菜的顺序也是很有讲究的
