Several days ago, while I got online, my cousin’s QQ head popped out(弹出). We hadn’t seen each other for a few months, so I decided to start a talk with her. My cousin is studying in a college of our city. Her hobby is surfing the Internet. Every time I am on the computer, she is always online, listening to music or decorating her “personal space”. I like visiting her space. It’s
creative and modern. I can’t design such a colorful web page as hers.
When I read the sentences she sent to me, I noticed that the Chinese characters had been changed, but I could still guess their meanings. I took a strong interest in this type of new characters. Further watching made me realize that they added some common Chinese radicals(部首) to the original characters, making them more vivid(生动), a little like Japanese. My cousin said this gives new life to the Chinese language and culture.
It is true that the Internet has reinvented our language, but I still can’t a ccept this new change. Some Chinese characters have meanings in the shapes; one shouldn’t superficially(浅薄地)change them by adding an additional radical. So I advised my cousin to change her new idea and use standard characters to communicate. And she willingly accepted my advice.

Having good manners is an important part of life. You know that you should never shout in public. But what about when it comes to the online world? When you use social media apps(社交媒体应用),like WeChat and Sina Weibo, you must also remember to mind your manners.
For example, sometimes I need to add a new friend on WeChat. But I haven't met him or her yet in real life. So when I send them a friend request, I explain who I am and how I got their contact information.
One of my friends likes to send really long voice messages on WeChat. It is difficult to keep up with all his messages and remember everything. I think this is a bit bad!
There are many other things that you shouldn't do on social media. Take a look and remember to do your best to be polite.
Don't share your friends' WeChat contact information with strangers. Ask your friend first before sharing.
Don't add someone new to your group chat without asking
the other members. They might not want new people to join the group.
If you use English, don't use all capital letters. IF YOU TYPE LIKE THIS, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE SCREAMING. DON'T DO IT.

Autumn is the best season to go to Hong Kong. This autumn, our family took a direct flight to Hong Kong. We went to the famous theme parks—Disneyland and Ocean Park. We met some cute cartoon characters. We ran after them and couldn’t stop taking lots of photos. We watched the dolphin show and bought some interesting things for my relatives. We also went to a seafood restaurant to have a delicious meal.
I enjoyed the trip very much. I hope I can visit it again someday.。
