第一篇
教学目标:
1.语言知识目标:
1)学生能听懂、会说和认读以下词汇:warm,cool
2)学生能听懂下列词汇并能指出相应的身体部位:
finger,shoulder,stomach,knee,toe
2、语言技能目标:
1)学生能唱歌曲:Head,shoulders,knees,toes
2)会运用所学词汇说简单的句子This is…/That’s …,能在实际生活中运用。

3、情感态度目标:
运用游戏、歌曲等多种教学手段激发学生学习英语的兴趣,引导学生在学习过程中积极参与,敢于开口,体验成功,树立自信心。

教学重点:单词warm,cool的听懂、会说和认读。

教学难点:运用所学词汇说简单句子This is…/That’s …,能在实际生活中运用。

板书设计:
Lesson 16 Warm and Cool

Step 1:Class Opening and Review
1.Warm up: Listen to a song<How do you feel?>before class.
[设计意图]欢快的歌曲营造了轻松的氛围,也和本课的新授内容一脉相承,能使学生很快进入到最佳的学习状态中。

2.Greeting
T: Hello,Boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Miss Geng.
T: Today I bring a new friend. Who is he? Yes, he is Xiyangyang.
(出示喜羊羊的玩偶) Please say hello to Xiyangyang.
Ss: Hello, Xiyangyang.
Xi: Hello, friends! How are you?
Ss: Fine, thanks. And you?
Xi: I’m a little cold. Would you like to do some actions with me?
Ss: Yes!
[设计意图]喜羊羊是孩子们喜欢的动画形象,用它来引导孩子们学习,既提高兴趣,又增加效果。

3. Let’s chant.(光盘展示)
Show me your left hand. Left, left, left.
Show me your right hand. Right, right, right.
Left hand, right hand, clap, clap, clap!
Show me your left foot. Left, left, left.
Show me your right foot. Right, right, right .
Left foot, right foot, go, go, go!
(师生一起边做动作边说。


4.Play a game:
Xi: You are so good! I feel happy. This time, I say, you do actions. OK?
(师说句子I feel happy/sad/tired/hot/cold,生做动作。

)
[设计意图]Chant和游戏都是孩子们喜欢的复习形式,使学生的学习热情更加高涨,也顺利的激活了学生已有的知识,为下面的warm, cool的教学做了很好的铺垫。

Step 2: New Concepts(28mins)
1. Warm or cool?
(1)Introduce
Xi:Thank you, my friends. I feel better now. I’m not cold. I feel warm. I feel warm. Warm,say it, please.
(引出单词warm,出示词卡教读、生齐读、one by one读,由高到低读)
Xi: Do you feel warm?
Ss: Yes, I am warm.
Xi: Do you know the opposite of warm? Yes, cool.
Cool凉爽的,凉快的。

(引出单词cool,出示词卡教读,生齐读、分组读,)
Xi: Look, am I cool? (出示一些很酷的图片)
Cool has another mean“酷,绝妙的”。

When you get a good idea, you can say “cool”. When you do some good things that others can’t do it, you are cool. Understand?
I think you are cool boys and cool girls, you are the best. Come on!
[设计意图]通过喜羊羊的感受顺理成章的介绍warm,在教学cool时,把孩子
们熟悉的生活中常用的含义“酷,绝妙的”介绍给他们,孩子们更感兴趣。

T: Next, I want to test you. Would you like to make a song?
How do you feel? I feel hot.
How do you feel? I feel cold.
How do you feel? I feel warm.
How do you feel? I feel cool.
(出示歌词,引导学生旧曲新唱)
[设计意图]旧曲新唱,呼应了课前的原歌,使单词的巩固环节也充满创造和乐趣。

T:Super singers! Yes, When we feel hot/cold/warm/cool, we say I feel hot/cold /warm/cool. But when we touch something hot/cold/warm/cool, (出示书上的图片) we say this/that is …(引导学生一起说。


(2)Practice
● Listen and repeat.
听录音跟读N1,解释ouch。

T:What does it mean? it means “哎呀” 。

“Ouch” is like “oh” in Chinese.
● T: Can you say something hot/cold/warm/cool? (学生说一说)
[设计意图]让学生说一说生活中冷、热、温暖、寒冷的东西,既能打开孩子们的思维,又学以致用。

● Game:出示一些冷、热、温暖和寒冷的图片,学生抢答说句子。

2.Let’s do it!
(1)Pairwork: Talk about the pictures.
学生讨论书上40页第二部分的图片。

(2)Match the words and the pictures.
学生完成将图片和词汇正确连线的活动。

[设计意图]让学生先抢答说句子,然后讨论图片说句子,最后落实到笔头上连线,这样设计孩子们比较清楚要做什么。

3.What is it?
(1)Introduce
Xi:You did a good job. Now I’m a little tired. Let’s listen to a song, Ok? (听歌曲“Head, shoulders, knees, toes”)
Xi:Which words did you hear?
(引出shoulder, knee, toe,stomach, finger指相应的身体部位教读)[设计意图]先听一遍歌曲,让学生有个大概的印象,据此引出新授的身体部位单词不突兀。

教材中并没有toes这个单词,但歌曲中出现了,所以一并教给了学生。

(2)Practice: Follow the directions.
Xi: Point to your______.
Touch your _______.
Show your ________.
(学生指出相应的部位,练习身体部位单词。


(3)Drill:
T: (指自己的肩膀)What is it?
Ss: It’s a shoulder.
T:(晃动自己的手指)What are they?
Ss: They are fingers.
T: How many fingers do you have?
Ss: Ten.

(4)Listen and repeat.(N3)
4.Let’s sing!
Xi: I’m very happy to learn with you. Next,let’s sing a song. Please stand up.
(1)Teach the students each line of the song with the actions. Touch the parts of your body as you sing the words.
(2)Sing this song two times.
Step 4:Class Closing
T: Now let’s look at what we have learned. Read altogether. One, two. (学生齐读板书)
T: Do you have any questions?
【设计意图】帮助学生回忆本课词汇和句子,有助于学生对本课知识的巩固、掌握。

T: Then today’s homework(出示家庭作业)
T: Thank you, Xiyangyang. Are you happy?
Xi: Yes, I’m happy. Do you feel happy?
Ss: Yes, I feel happy too.
Xi: It’s time to say good-bye. See you later.
Ss: Bye.
