Reading A
1.Dealing with trouble
Deal with sth 对待处理（用How 提问）
Do with (what 提问)
2、sth happen to sb
主语是物，不能是人。人在to后做宾语
例：An exciting thing happen to Liu wei.
Exciting 是（adj）描述事物
另一种是excited描述人。
3、today my father an I waited for the ferry
Wait for 等候
4.show sth to sb =show sb sth
Show it to me 不能show me it
Sth 为代词时只能放show后面。
5.begin doing sth = begin to do sth
例：The women an a man bagan arguing.
6、go up 走上前去
Go up to sb./sth.
例：My father went up and ask one of the women 7.the other
One……the other……
8.hurry aboard
Aboard (副词)前不可加介词to
Go after sb.=follow sb.
9.Let’s take the next ferry
Take=go (to)by 表示搭乘交通工具
10.see sb doing sth 看见某人做某事（过程）
see sb. do sth. 看过某人做某事（结果）

1.stay up late 熬夜
这里late 为副词，修饰动词stay up.
2.be sure to +动词原形一定
3.be angry with sb=get angry with sb.对某人生气
4.run out of 从……冲出来。
5.keep warm 保持温暖
keep +形容词
keep为系动词，表示保持某种状态。类此的系动词还有feel
6.think abao +n./-v.ing
7.on one’ own=by oneself 独自，靠某人自己。
Listening
1.He had to meet a new person feom work.
A new person from work 是介词短语，from work作后置定语修饰名词person.
2.arrive in/at + n.
3.take sb to (把某人带到某地)
如home.here,there,等副词前面不加to.

Take这里表示“吃（饭），喝（水）服（药）”
