William Wordsworth---an English romantic poet (1770—1850). He is regarded as the central figure in the initiation of English Romanticism. He is one of the main figures of the Lake School ( 湖畔派 ) (Other two Lake Poets are Samuel Taylor Coleridge柯勒律治 and Robert Southey骚塞) Most of his poetry is about the links between man and man, between humankind and the natural world. In 1843 he became England's poet laureate(桂 冠诗人). His most famous work is considered to be “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”

Some of us divorced, some widowed, some never yet committed.

If one is more aware of his own value and the fullness of his own presence, his desire to stay with other people is weaker. He is inwardly strong, and knows very well his own value and importance, so he doesn’t feel empty or insecure without companions.
John Milton---English poet, author. He wrote for civil and religious liberty. He lost his sight in the year of 1651, and thereafter dictated his works. He is best known for his epic poem Paradise Lost (《失乐园》,1667). Paradise Lost is an epic poem. It concerns the Biblical story of the Fall of Man: the temptation of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel Satan and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Paradise Lost is often considered one of the greatest literary works in the English language.
