Teaching Aims:

e.g. Merry Christmas.
(2)To offer people things and express thanks.
e.g. Here are your presents.
Thank you.

2)情感目标:To enjoy the happy atmosphere at Christmas.

2. Make short dialogues.
Presentation 1.To learn “Merry Christmas.
1) Enjoy the song <Merry Christmas>
T: Do you like this music? When do we here it ?
2) Show Santa Claus.( a puppet) and say : Merry
Christmas.
Explain Christmas.
3) Say the expression after the tape.
4) Practice one by one.
5) Invite students to play Santa Claus (mask)
and say “Merry Christmas.”
Presentation 2.To learn “Here are your presents.” “Thank
you.”
1)T: At Christmas, what do you want to do?
Do you want to receive a present?
Show a present and say present
2)Put the picture on the board. Put the word
card under the picture.
3)Show many presents and say presents.
4)Point to the presents and say: Here are
your presents. Are you happy?
5)Read the sentence.
6)Invite students to play Santa Claus and
say: Here are your presents.
The rests say: Thank you. Consolidation 1.Read after the tape.
2.Act out the dialogue.
3.Make new dialogues.

2)Take out one present and say: It’s a bell.(Shake
the bell.).
