二、动词不定式的否定形式 1. tell, ask, want, would like, wish, invite, encourage, teach等动词
后接不定式作宾语补足语时,其否定形式是在to do前加not, 构成not to do结构。 eg:我妈妈经常告诉我不要在大街上玩耍。
My mother often tells me not to play in the street. 2. feel, see, hear, notice, watch, have, let, make等 动词后接不带to的 不定式作宾语补足语时,其否定形式是直接在动词前面加not。

Uses of infinitives- to do
作宾语补足语
动词不定式可以用来说明 宾语的情况,作宾语补足 语。
My mum asks me to play the piano two hours every day.
作目的状语
动词不定式用作目的 状语,表示某一动作 或状态的目的。(做某 事是为了什么)
② 其后接不带to的不定式作宾语补足语,这类动词为感官动词或 使役动词,如:feel, see, hear, notice, watch, have, let, make 等。
eg:我经常听见这个女孩在隔壁房间唱歌。 I often hear the girl sing in the next room. 那个男孩弄哭了这个婴儿。 The boy made the baby cry.
