Today we are bringing you a story from real life.Three Mexican fishermen have been rescued after floating in a small boat for about nine months across thousands of miles of the Pacific Ocean.?
The three fi shermen left their home of San Blas on Mexico’s Pacific coast last November and were blown 5,000 miles off course after their 25-foot rubber boat ran out of gas and they were left to the mercy of the winds.??The fishermen were able to survive by eating raw fish and sea birds.They caught any bird that landed on their boat and ate it uncooked.?
Their difficult and unpleasant experience finally ended a week ago when they were rescued by a Taiwanese fishing boat in waters between the Marshall Islands and Kiribati.They were very skinny and very hungry but they were definitely in fine mental state.?
News of their rescue shocked their friends and relatives.They were overjoyed, since they had given the fishermen up for dead, announcing their deaths in June.
