单元目标分析
本单元的教学主题为How do you feel?，要求学生掌握的核心词汇是形容词：happy, hungry, thirsty, sad, full, tired, afraid, angry.重点句型How do you feel? We’re/I am…How does he/she feel? He/She is…教材通过Kitty and Ben在一天中的感受，play a game来进一步强化和巩固本课时的重点句型。

通过Sam and Ginger ,A thirsty crow, Listen and enjoy来感受不同环境下人物不同的感受。

学习掌握字母组合st的发音规则。

本单元的新形容词full, tired, 其他形容词均为接触过。

教学句型How do you feel? We’re/I am…How does he/she feel? He/She is…可结合三年级所学句型如：How does the lemon feel? How does the lemon smell? 的句型。

教学中需关注的是：1.表示心情的形容词 2.表达这种心情情景设置要贴切 3.对这种心情作出正确的反应4.Here’s /Here are 的正确使用5.Have some…与Eat / Drink some…的句性转换6.在文本再构时要考虑到：How does it taste/smell/…的结合，从而复习表示感觉的形容词7.关注词组的积累8.-st 的读音。

在形容词的学习过程中，可进行文本的编制、再构，丰富教学内容。

Sam and Ginger，A thirsty crow ,可根据文本再构，提示关键词前提下，让学生复述课文，提高说话写作能力。

单元教学目标
通过本单元的学习，学生能：
1、听说读写：happy, hungry, thirsty, sad, full, tired, afraid, angry, new, back, biscuit, then
词汇。

2、听说读：crow, dry, wet, bottle, pebble, idea, great, so, cream, berry, large, lemonade, each
other, Ginger’s 等词汇。

3、了解和感知-st在单词中的发音，掌握-st [st]的发音规则：toast, postman, lamp post
4、掌握并运用How do you feel? I am/We are….
How does he/she feel? He/She is…表达相关信息。

5、掌握并运用一般疑问句Are you hungry? Yes, we are. Is he/She hungry? No, he/she isn’t.
询问并获得信息。

6、掌握并运用句型：Here is/are for .
7、Have some…与Eat / Drink some…的句性转换
8、进一步认知特殊疑问句What does he/she want?及其回答。

9、在理解故事的基础上，根据相关信息复述课文。

10、感知不同的环境有不同的感受。

11、运用所学的信息描述某人的感受。

教学设计思路
根据本单元的的教学内容和要求，制定了单元计划，特别是根据教学内容的不同、教学要求的不同、课型的不同，调整了教材的顺序。

整个单元人物在不同环境下不同的感受为主线，第一课时，以Listen and enjoy的学习引入新授，以Linda’s Day 内容编制文本，在学习语篇的过程中复习单词happy, sad, hungry, thirsty, angry, afraid, 解决新单词tired, full。

拓展词组be full of, be tired of，并结合Ask and answer操练、运用How do you feel? We’re/ I’m….的句型。

第二课时承接上一课时Linda’s Day 转入Kitty and Ben’s Day,使学生知道不同的环境下会有不同的感受。

掌握并运用一般疑问句Are you hungry? Yes, we are. Is he/She hungry? No, he/she isn’t.询问并获得信息。

操练、运用How does he/she feel? He/She is…的句型。

第三课时，以Sam and Ginger的感受为主线，体验不同的环境下会有不同的感受，并能描述人物不同的感受。

掌握并能运用句型Here is/are sth for sb. 能掌握-st [st]的发音规则，并听辨，认读单词。

第四课时，以A thirsty crow 为主题，能根据提示复述课文，引导学生遇到问题应积极动脑。

第五课时，作相应练习。

文本1：
Ben, Kitty and Sam go to Peter’s home at noon. Sam is thirsty . He drinks Ginger’s water. The water is nice and Sam is happy , but Ginger is not happy. She is thirsty too.
Peter gives Ginger some water and now Ginger is happy , but she does not like Sam.
They don’t like each other.
文本2：
It is a hot and dry day. Look at the crow. It is thirsty and tired. It sees a bottle. There is some water in it. It is so thirsty, but it can’t drink the water. The bottle is too long and thin. Great! It has an idea. It puts some pebbles in the bottle. Finally it can drink the water. It is so happy.。
