There was a knock on my door three o’clock in the morning.凌晨三点的时候有人敲我的房门。

I got out of the bed and looked through the safety window, and I could see it was a Japanese promoter.我下了床。

So, I opened the door and he said, “Marc, you need to call home. There ‘s been an emergency.”于是我打开门，他对我说：“马克，你需要打个电话回家，家里有急事。

”I just threw the phone down and I ran out of my hotel room.我扔下电话，跑出了酒店房间。

I took the elevator to the lobby when the doors opened up.我乘坐电梯来到大厅，门是开着的。

I just ran out of the street.我跑到了街上。

I mean there was no cars, there was no peoples.当时街上没有车也没有人。

Three o’ clock in the morning.那是凌晨三点钟。

And I walked down in the middle of the street in Hiroshima, Japan.我走在日本广岛的一条街中间。

I remember looking up and just saying, “Mom, I am so sorry.”我记得我仰起头，说：“妈妈，对不起。

”I flew home for her funeral and I was so nervous to walk up to her casket, so I just stood way in the back.我坐飞机回家参加她的葬礼。

And I kept looking from a distance and I kept thinking to myself. Mom, please wake up! Please get up!我远远的看着她，心里一直在想,“妈妈，请你醒醒吧！请你快起来！”And then I finally got the nerve to walk up to her and as I got closer I could see my mom for the first time.最后，我终于鼓起勇气向她走去。

All she ever wanted to do … was talk to me.她一直想做的就是和我说说话。
