Terms of price are very important in an offer. Among the most commonly used price terms are CIF, CFR and FOB. The meanings of these terms are briefly as follows: CIF means the cost; insurance and freight are included in the price quoted. CFR, originally termed as C&F, means only the cost and freight are included in the price quoted. FOB, which stands for free on board, means the goods should be placed on board a carrier at the point of shipment without charge to the buyer. The insurance and freight are, of course, not included in the price quoted.

Introduction to acceptance letters(1)
An offeree’s agreement to the terms set by the offerer is called an Acceptance. An acceptance, which should be expressed and unconditional, should reach the offerer within the validity of the offer. The opposite of acceptance is ‘Refusal’. However, even a refusal should be polite. However, legally, a firm offer is simply termed as an “offer” while an offer without engagement is “an invitation to offer”.
