一、教学目标
1. 掌握以下词汇:dumpling, porridge, onion, fish, pancake
2. 掌握以下句型:
(1) I like dumplings, fish and orange juice.
(2) I don’t like onions, green tea or porridge.
3. 在Section A的基础上,进一步深化关于点餐的主题内容和语言表达。

4. 通过生活中常见的打电话点餐的情境,让学生感悟本单元的功能目标,丰富语言输入的内容
5. 通过听内容完成表格的任务训练学生掌握如何通过话题来善用个人经验或知识进行听前预测的听力技巧。

二、教学重点及难点
重点:
1. 能听懂接近自然语速、熟悉话题的简单语段,识别主题,获取主要信息。

2. 能通过真实的语言交际让学生感悟本单元的功能项目。

难点:
通过听力训练提高学生们获取信息的能力。

Step 1. Warming-up

1.Circle the things Ss like in 1a, and put an × next to the things they don’t like.
2.Work in pairs, tell their partners what they like and don’t like. (Pay attention to and / or)
S1: I like dumplings, fish and orange juice, but I don’t like soup.
S2: I like soup, but I don't like onions, green tea or porridge.
3.Choose a few students to report their results.
e.g. I like dumplings, fish and orange juice, but I don’t like soup. My partner likes soup, but he/she doesn’t like onions, green tea or porridge.

1. Listen and answer the questions.

2. Listen again and complete the food order form. Then listen again and check the answers.

Language points
I don’t like onions, green tea or porridge. 我不喜欢洋葱、绿茶和粥。

or此处用作并列连词,意为“或者;和”,常用于否定句中,肯定句中用and代替。

I don’t like chicken or beef. 我不喜欢鸡肉和牛肉。

I like onions, green tea and porridge. 我喜欢洋葱、绿茶和粥。

注意:
1. 当句中有两个并列成分时,and/or放在这两个成分中间;当句中有三个或三个以上的并列的成分时,and/or只用在最后两个成分之间,前面的用逗号隔开。

2. 在否定句中,如果所连接的两个词前都有否定词时,则用and,不用or。

My mother has no QQ and no WeChat.= My mother has no QQ or WeChat. 我妈妈没有QQ也没有微信。

拓展:
1. or用在选择疑问句中,意为“或;还是”。

—Is your brother tall or short? 你哥哥个子高还是矮?
—He is tall. 他个子高。

2. or用于肯定句中,意为“或者”。

He has a twin sister or brother. 他有一个双胞胎妹妹或弟弟。

3. or用于连个数字之间表示约略数目,意为“大约”。

The boy is three or four years old. 这个男孩大约三四岁。

4. or用于“祈使句+or+简单句”句型中,意为“否则”。

Hurry up, or you’ll be late for school. 快点儿,否则你上学就迟到了。
