Always be grateful and learn to appreciate
Crows are grateful to their parents for feeding them, and sheep are grateful to their mothers for feeding them. From the moment we were born, we have received the kindness given by our parents. From the time we learned to speak to the time we grew up, no matter how many difficulties and obstacles we encountered, our parents were always there, protecting us from the wind and rain and giving us spiritual comfort. Therefore, we should know how to be grateful. As the saying goes: Filial piety comes first among all virtues, and knowing how to be grateful is the foundation of being a human being.
When we were children, gratitude meant obeying our parents’ orders and not being naughty; when we went to school, gratitude meant studying hard and pursuing excellence; when we grew up, gratitude meant being independent, self-reliant, and not worrying our parents. Gratitude may seem simple, but it is actually not easy. It is like the roots of a tree or the source of a stream, and it is the foundation of human nature.
I believe everyone has heard of the stories of "lying on ice to seek carp" and "Chenxiang saving mother". Although we live in different times and do not have the conditions of that time, there are still many ways t o express gratitude. I once met a little girl from a neighbor's house. She was only 9 years old. She often lied and did not study hard on weekdays. However, on Mother's Day, she insisted on washing her mother's feet. This is very different from what I saw on TV. Some children have raised their parents with great difficulty, but what is their return? When parents are sick, no one visits them, not even a phone call. When the elderly are critically ill, they pretend to be filial on the surface, but in fact they covet more inheritance after the elderly die. Such people are simply not worthy of being human. Seeing the helpless crying of
those elderly people, my heart is filled with anger. Are they not even as good as a little girl? It's so sad!
It is our parents who gave us precious life and raised us up. Mothers will grow old, but the warmth of maternal love will never fade away. Let us be grateful, learn to be grateful, and use the power of gratitude to build a world full of love!。
