pollen donation, and its yield is relatively stable through experiments in Wenxian county of Henan province, Mengyin county of Shandong province and Fengxian county of Jiangsu province. The experiment
the average fruit weight is 180 g, and maximum fruit weight is 260 g. Fruit is mainly flat, and the peel
has beautiful color approximately 60% percent of bright red with short fluff. Its flesh is brilliant yellow
period of‘Zhongpan 13’is about half a month earlier and the fruit size is smaller. The tree of‘Zhongpan 13’has a strong tree vigor, and attention should be taken to control the tree vigour during cultivation; ridge cultivation can be adopted, with a ridge height of 0.4 m and a ridge width of 1.2 m. It is necessary to properly control the fertilizer and water, and avoid flood irrigation. The fruit setting rate of this
‘Zhongpan 13’is an early-mid ripening flat peach, derived from a cross between‘98-2-1’
and‘Zhen1-3’in 2007 at experimental field.‘98-2-1’
, the female parent, is an early-mid ripening yellow peach covered by shining red.‘Zhen1- 3’
, the pollen donation, is flat nectarine and yellow flesh.
‘Zhongpan 13’was first selected in 2011 for its large fruit, hard flesh, early- mid ripeness and high
