一、课程的任务和基本要求：
物流专业外语(Logistics English)本课程是对物流管理专业的学生开设的一门专业英语课。

通过该课程的学习，使学生掌握一定量的专业英语词汇，提高英语的阅读、听说水平. 从而在学习专业知识的基础上，加强学生的社会适应能力。

学生完成全部课程的学习后应到达以下要求：
1.基本能掌握常用的物流管理专业词汇；
2.能查阅相关的外文资料，阅读简单的外文文献；
3.能进行简单的物流专业英文摘要撰写。

六、有关说明：
1、教学和考核方式：
教学采用口头讲解、课堂讨论相合的方式，在听、说、读、写四个方面针对教学内容进行形式合理的教授。

本课程属考查课，考核方式采用口试。

考核方式：总评成绩由平时成绩和其末考核成绩共同构成。

其中平时成绩占比60%,由课堂回答下列问题，朗读文章段落，书面和口头习题，小测验和出勤率得出；期末口试考核成绩占比40% o
2、习题：
重点章节的习题一般采用汉译英或英译汉的形式，所译文章不超过两篇。

依据物流管理专业最新趋势选取。

要求以书面形式上交，全部批改，成绩作为平时成绩一局部。

3、能力培养要求：
1.要求学生能掌握较多的专业词汇（500个以上）；
2.能根据教学的要求查阅简单的外文专业文献，基本能够读懂文献中的主要方法与主要内容；
3.初步具备物流专业英语阅读能力及撰写能力。
