Technology, a Blessing or a Curse？

In recent years, technology is developing rapidly all over the world.They bring us not only enjoyment but also disadvantages. An argument arose, that is, is the technology a blessing or a curse?
On one hand, modern technology render people many advantages. Firstly, progress in technology has promoted economic social progress greatly. Secondly, technology makes our life more convenient and interesting. Internet is widely used nowadays not only for collection of abundant information but also for contact and shopping. We must acknowledge that technology has promoted the quality of people’s life.
On the other hand, the process of technology development has brought about adverse influence on human beings. In the first place, pollution in environment is a serious problem.A large number of waste is discharged into the air and water with the development of technology.There is no doubt that chemicals in waste harm to the p eople’s health directly or indirectly. In the second place, many high technical products have a bad impact on people in mental.. The use of Internet can be used as a typical example. Though it can provide us with all kinds of information,it also disrupts the normal life of people. There are so many people immersed in the network, in particular students.
How should we deal with the contradiction between advantages and disadvantages? In my view, first of all,the progress of technology means that people's life will become better and better, we should support it. Moreover, We must take measures to purify the waste and make sure that the content of chemicals in the waste can’t have a bad influence on human beings. Lastly, we should reduce the negative information in modern technical products, we must eliminate the negative effects to the least extent.
I believe that the development of technology will become a blessing eventually. We all hope that modern technology will reach a higher level so that it can makes life more convenient and serve people much better.。
