Jo is 15and lives in Parkville .When Jo’s grandparents first came to Parkville 50 years ago, it was a quiet country village in the centre of the country . At that time, they had a small house on the edge of town, with some fields and the hills in the distance.

1. Why do people move to cities? Because they want to look for work and have a better life.
2. What do cities need for the people who live there? Cities need hospitals, schools, houses, flats, shops, police, public transport, clean water…
