Section A Look and do
Teaching Aims:
Describing the locates of the objects or persons correctly
Main Points:
The usage of the preposition: in, on, under, near
Difficult Points:
The usage of the preposition : in, on ,under, near
Teaching Aids: a tape recorder, picture cards, objects, words cards Teaching Steps:
A. Organization:
1. Sing an English song
2. Free talk
B. Revision:
1. Ask the pupils to read the texts from units 6 to units 8
2. Show the picture cards to the class, ask some pupils to read the
words.
C. Presentation:
1. Tell the pupils to draw the toys in the box any place
they like in the picture of my room.
2. They take tums to describe their room to their friends.
3. As their partner describe his/her room, the pupils should draw the
objects in the correct places in the picture labeled "My friend's
room". At the end of the activity, the pupils compare drawings.
Their own picture and their partner's picture of "My friend's room"
should be the same.
D. Consolidation:
1. Ask the pupils to look at the pictures and listen to the Workbook
Cassette.
2. Tell the pupils to put the ticks in the boxes for the correct pictures.
3. Play a guessing game.

Listen to the tape five minutes and-recite the new words of unit 7

Teaching Steps:
A. Organization:
1. Sing an English song
2. Read English rhymes.
B. Revision:
1. Show the words of Unit eight to the class and ask the pupils to read
together.
2. Encourage some pupils to act out sections A-B
3. Make dialogues.
C. Presentation:
1. Ask the pupils to look at the picture of the things in the shop and
what the children are holding. The children how what they want in
their thought bubbles.
2. Demonstrate one conversation with the pupils. Ask them to take
turns to act the children by asking What do you want? And
answering I have a I want a ...... please
3. The pupils work in groups of four. One pupils puts some of the
objects from his/her school bag o the desk This pupil plays a
shopkeeper, and ask each of the others in mm: what do you want ?
D. Consolidation:
1. Ask the pupils to listen to the Work book Cassette.
2. Tell the pupils to follow the lines to the correct balloon and put a tick
or a cross in the boxes.
3. Play a game.

1. Encourage the pupils to ask some puzzled problems about the lesson

B. Revision:
1. Show thc cards of unit 9 to the class and ask the pupils to read
and spell the words
2. Encourage some pupils to role-play Section B of unit 9
3. Play a game.
C. Presentation:
1. Show Transparency. Read the sentences in the speech bubbles.
2. Show the pupils the small boxes next to teach of the pictures of thc
animals in the pct shop.
3. Demonstrate in picture 1 how to write a tick next to the small
animals that Pat describes when she says it's small They write a
cross next to thc big animals.
D. Consolidation
1. Ask the pupils to continue reading thc conversation and write ticks
or crosses in the boxes according to Pat's description: When the
pupils have finished, they should write the name of the pet Pat likes in the blank in her final speech bubble.
2. Play the Pupil's Book Cassette. Use Transparency to show pupils
how to number the computers according to the descriptions of the
pictures that they hear on the tape.
E. Summing up
1. Give pupils two or three more minutes to ask any questions they
like about the lesson
2. Read the unit9 together.

ticks or crosses in the boxes according to Pat’s description. When the pupils have finished, they should write the name of the pet Pat likes in the blank in her final speech bubbles.
3) Using transparency to check the pupil’s answers.
4) Ask the pupils to choose one animal they like from the picture.

This is a revision lesson. We reviewed all the new words and sentence patterns. They don’t like su ch a class. Because they had learned them already. They were not new for them.。
