HMC-更换电源P570

换P570电源步骤(2011-10-12 11:47)
1.确定在P1-C6/C7位置没有以下设备，否则只能关机换电源，在线换电源不得超过5分钟FC 1800 - HSL-2 Ports - 2 Copper
FC 1801 - HSL-2 Ports - 2 Optical
FC 1810 - GX Dual-port 4x HCA
注：Remote I/O expansion card (FC 1800)
Dual-port 4X Host Channel Adapter Infiniband card (FC 1810)
2. 如果P570是由HMC管理的，通过HMC（version6以下版本）删除设备，方法如下：a．在导航区，展开系统环境
b．展开需要更换部件的管理系统
c．展开Service Applications
d．选择Service Focal Point
e．在内容部分，选择(Repair Serviceable Event)Install/Add/Remove Hardware
f．在Install/Add/Remove Hardware窗口，点击System Processor.
g．从选择的菜单上，选择Remove FRU.
h．在Installed enclosure types部分，选择system or expansion unit来删除部件
i．在可用的FRU类型来选择插槽来删除部件
j．点击Next，电源灯开始闪烁
k．根据指令更换部件
3. 如何在AIX系统或者逻辑分区上定位坏的部件
a．以root用户登录AIX系统
b．输入diag
c．从Function Selection菜单，选择Task Selection回车
d．选择Display Previous Diagnostic Results回车
e．从Display Previous Diagnostic Results返回界面上选择Display Diagnostic Log Summary，出现Display Diagnostic Log，返回内容包含按时间排序的一些事件列表
f．注意T列表的最近的事件，选择后按回车
g．选择Commit，将会详细显示此事件的信息
h．记下事件的位置信息以及相应的SRN号
i．退出到命令行下
4. 如果570不是通过HMC管理，更换设备方法如下：
a．以root用户登录AIX系统
b．输入diag
c．从Function Selection菜单，选择Task Selection回车
d．从Task Selection菜单上选择Identify and Attention Indicators回车
e．从列表上选择故障部件后回车
f．选择Commit，系统故障灯会点亮同时故障部件灯也被点亮(左边P1-E1,右边P1-E2) g．开始更换电源
h．更换完成后，根据系统提示，退出到命令行下
The FRU listed below is the most probable cause of the failure. If you have a replacement FRU on site you will be guied through an exchange procedure.

You must determine if the repair can continue concurrently.Open the back door of the unit containing the FRU that is being repaired. To continue the repair concurrently,the following conditions must be true
◆Another power supply must already be installed at location E1.This power supply has three LEDS. The LEDs must be set as follows:
◆AC Input-on, not blinking
◆DC Output-on, not blinking
◆Fault/Identify-off
If any of these conditions are not true, the repair can continue only after powering off the unit containing the FRU that is being repaired. If the unit is already powered off, you may proceed with a non-concurrent repair.
Select " Next " to continue.
Remove the power supply
Note:Two power supplies must be present in the system in order to power on the system unit.If one power supply fails,or you have a system failure that does not stop the fans,the system will continue to operate.You can remove and replace the power supply with the system power on if it is done in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES After five minutes,the system will power down to prevent the system from over heating.
1.Open the back rack door or cover.
2.Disconnect the power cable from the backup of the power supply you are servicing.
3.Pull the locking handle to pull the power supply out of the power supply by
CAUTION:
This part or unit is heavy,but has a weight smaller than 18 kilograms (39.7 pounds).Use care when lifting.removing,or installing this part or unit(c008).
When you have completed these steps,click Next to continue.
You must determine if the new power supply is operational. The new power supply is operational if its LEDs are set as follows:
◆AC Input -on, not blinking
◆DC Output-on, not blinking
◆Fault/Identify-blinking or off
If the LEDs are set differently, you must determine why. Make sure the power supply is plugged into a working AC power source, try installing a different power supply, or call your next level of support.
