Latter feels
In this winter holiday, I have read a simple article called “A cobbler and a banker “.I learnt a lot from it. The article said:” Once, there was a poor cobbler, he was very happy and satisfied every day, though he just made money for three meals. It was wonderful to see, wonderful to hear him. However, his neighbor----a rich banker was unhappy and sleepless, ever day. So, he and his wife were jealous of cobbler’s happiness.
And when the banker thought if the cobbler have money, he will not be happy every day. So, he fell asleep, the cobbler’s songs always disturbed him. So he was very sad. Then, the banker gave the cobbler one hundred crowns. Afterwards, the cobbler buried his money and happiness at the same time. He cares and cuspicions. We worried that if his money will be stolen.
At last, the cobbler was so nervous that he gave the money back because he wanted to get his happiness and voice back.” So this story told us that people’s unhappiness is always caused by themselves. But happiness isn’t caused by money. Sometimes, if you live in a simple life, you will feel happy, real happy.
I think that : First, happiness is a feeling, is not a thing can be bought by money; Second, happiness or unhappiness is caused by your own mind; Third: We should treasure the present happiness and create the future happiness.
I think of a same story. A farmer was given money by his neighbor because his neighbor hated the farmer’s happiness. He thought if farmer had
money, he would not be happy again. However, the farmer worried the money on the first day , but the next day, he donated all the money that he was given to the poor. Then he was happy forever.
Two men have the same experience but they have quite different endings. It’s the evidence to prove that happiness is caused by ourselves, not others.
So we have to keep happy every day.
