For those who like to exercise, there are several sandy beaches, a swimming pool and four public tennis courts in Mornington. There is also a modern gymnasium in the city centre. Most people, however, visit Mornington to see the building in the old part of town. Some of them are over 500 years old. They have all been repaired and are popular with most visitors.

Simple present tense When an information report is about past or future events and then the tense changes. Sometimes the writer gives information about past or future events and then appropriate tense of the verb in brackets.

Factual adjectives texts like “Moon Park” are called information reports. They give the reader facts about something. It is not usually appropriate to put opinion or feeling adjectives in an information report.

Although it is small, there is plenty to do in Mornington. There are four cinemas, a large museum, an art gallery and many restaurants which have food from many different countries.
