Daily report ——小环节，大成效一、前言新课标下的英第课堂教学从重语言知识的传授转向语言能力的培养。

随着英语课程改革的深入，初中英语课堂教学也更关注学生的情感需求和自主学习能力的培养。

教师的课堂教学内容与学生的生活联系更加紧密，教师在教学中也更重视对学生提取信息和处理信息能力的培养，关注学生分析问题、解决问题能力的培养。

经过长期的探索和实践，笔者在英语课堂教学中创新设计Daily Report活动，为培养学生的上述能力搭建了有效的平台。

Daily Report是在英语课堂教学的前三至五分钟，一般由一名学生向全班同学做小报告，接着学生就报告的内容进行提问，最后教师作简单小结这样一个活动。

这小小的环节为学生搭建了一个展示自我、共同分享的平台，是英语课堂教学中的润滑剂，为加强师生、生生之间的情感交流，促进情感沟通，对激发学生的英语学习兴趣、增强学生的学科信心起到了良好的作用。

学生为了做好Daily Report，通过网络、报刊等各种渠道搜集信息和资料，在阅读的过程中更好地了解了英语语言的特点以及英美国家的文化风俗。

在此基础上，汇报学生还要把搜集到的材料进行归纳、整理，并用自己的语言组织文字、表达思想，还要请教教师、修改文字，这一过程使学生的写作能力得到了锻炼。

同时，其他学生认真倾听，听音和辨音的能力都得到了训练。

互动问答环节为学生创设了真实的英语情境，不仅是学生训练语言表达的机会，也是学生纠正、规范英语语言表达，互相学习英语语言的好时机。

二．Daily Report活动的实践与创新1. 打破传统，变一人值日报告为一人或多人值日报告一人值日报告循环周期长，学生准备时的工作量大，对基础差的学生是个很大的挑战。

绝大部分学生都愿意选择多人组合（一般不超过四人)，这样小组成员之间可以取长补短进行分工合作，有负责策划的，有负责搜集材料、组织文字的，也有负责制作和汇报的，这大大地提高了Daily Report的质量。
