初一下册英语作文介绍你家人都出行方式
初一下册英语作文介绍你家人都出行方式全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Family's Travel AdventuresHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about how the different people in my family like to get around and travel. We have some fun and interesting ways of going places!First up is my dad. He loves riding his bicycle everywhere! He has this really cool racing bike that's bright red. It has super thin tires and these curved handlebars. Whenever dad needs to run errands or go to work, he just hops on his bike. He says it's good exercise and helps the environment by not driving a car. My dad is very strong from all the biking. Sometimes on weekends, he goes on really long bike rides in the countryside for fun. He packs snacks and water in his little bike bag. Once, he even biked all the way to the next city over which is like 50 miles away! When he got back home, he was completely exhausted but had a huge smile. Biking is dad's favorite way to travel for sure.My mom prefers traveling by train whenever possible. She thinks trains are the most relaxing and civilized way to getaround. Mom loves being able to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery passing by through the big windows. She packs books, snacks, and little travel games for long train rides. If we're going somewhere far away, mom always insists we take the train instead of flying. She says planes are too cramped and stressful. I have to admit, train trips are pretty fun. You get to make friends with other passengers, walk around whenever you want, and the food cart comes right to you with yummy treats! Last summer we took the train all the way from our city to visit grandma who lives in another state. It took a whole day of riding the rails, but we had a great time. I remember playing card games with mom and looking out at all the forests and rivers we passed by. The best was when the train whooshed through a long, dark tunnel - so exciting! Now get this - my wacky uncle loves traveling by hitchhiking! Can you believe it? Whenever he needs to go somewhere, he just sticks out his thumb on the side of the road and tries to get a ride from strangers. He says it's a great way to cheaply see the country, meet interesting people, and have unexpected adventures. Uncle Sebastian has traveled all over hitchhiking from coast to coast. He keeps a tattered old backpack stuffed with minimal supplies and just wings it. Sometimes nice truckers pick him up and he rides in their cab for hundreds of miles. Othertimes he catches rides with random families or college kids going on road trips. Uncle Seb has countless crazy stories about his hitchhiking journeys - like the time he got picked up by a retired circus performer who had a pet tiger in the camper! Or when he scored a ride with a bunch of guys heading to a big music festival and had an epic time hanging out with them. I'll never understand why anyone would want to travel that way, but uncle insists it's the only way to go. He says one day he'll take me along on a hitchhiking adventure when I'm older. No thanks! My teenage sister Gemma almost never leaves the house without her skateboard or roller blades. That girl is obsessed with anything on wheels. She skates absolutely everywhere she can - to school, the mall, friends' houses, you name it. Her skate shoes have more holes than Swiss cheese from all the grinding and tricks she does. I'm pretty sure Gemma has skated across every inch of pavement in our entire city! She's always working on perfecting her latest ollies, kickflips, or skateboard dance moves. Even when we go on vacation somewhere, the first thing Gemma does is scope out all the best skate spots and parks in the area. Her roller blades and skateboards take up most of the space in mom's trunk whenever we travel. I have to admit, Gemma's skateboarding skills are seriously impressive. But I think I'll stick to getting around on my own two feet - it's much safer that way!As for me, I'm just a kid so I usually travel by getting rides from my parents or taking the bus. I love going places as a passenger because I can look out the window, listen to music, or read books and comics. Sometimes mom lets me sit up front and pretend I'm the bus driver or driving the car - that's always fun! When we go on big vacations, we almost always travel by flying on airplanes. I get super excited waiting in the airport watching all the huge jets take off and land. Once you're up in the clouds, you get to look way down at the tiny homes and cars below which is crazy! And I love watching movies on the seatback screens during long flights. Airplane food is weird but tasty too. My favorite part is when the pilot lets me visit the cockpit and see all the controls if I'm one of the first ones off the plane. Flying gives me such a rumbly, excited feeling in my belly. I can't wait for my next airplane adventure!Well, that's the scoop on how my family gets around and travels from place to place. We may have some unconventional methods, but we always have fun and go on exciting journeys together no matter what! Hopefully you enjoyed hearing about our travel tales. Who knows, maybe my uncle will pick you up hitchhiking someday! Until next time, happy trails!篇2My Big Family and How We Get AroundHi friends! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about my family and the neat ways we travel. I have a pretty big family with lots of people, so we need many different types of transportation to get everywhere we need to go. Buckle up and get ready for an adventure!First up is my dad. He's the hardest working guy I know and has a really important job downtown. Every morning, Dad wakes up super early around 6am and gets ready for his day. He takes a shower, gets dressed in his suit and tie, and then heads out the door. To get to his office, Dad drives his black Toyota Camry. He says he likes driving himself because it's the fastest way through city traffic. Some mornings I'll peek out the window and watch him back out of the driveway and drive off down the street. I always wave bye-bye until I can't see his car anymore! My mom is a stay-at-home mom, so she doesn't need to commute to an office. But she still needs to go lots of places - the grocery store, running errands, taking me and my little sister to activities, and more. For those short trips around town, Mom drives her big green minivan. It's the perfect "mom mobile" to haul us kids and all our stuff. It has bucket seats, cupholders, and tons of room for backpacks, sports equipment, you name it. Ilove the minivan because there's space for me to crawl around and it has cool rear entertainment screens. Whenever we go on longer trips, Mom packs snacks and we watch movies on those screens. So much fun!Speaking of longer trips, sometimes my whole family goes on vacations together. When we travel far away, we go by airplane! I get so excited for airplanes. It's amazing to me that those huge metal birds can cruise up in the sky among the clouds. Before our last trip to Florida, my parents downloaded games and videos on their iPads to keep me and my sister entertained during the flight. I stared out the window as we soared over cities, mountains, rivers and beaches. The view from up high is incredible! I even got to visit the cockpit and see the pilots fly the plane. It was a dream come true. While we love going places as a whole family, my parents also let me and my sister go on special solo trips with our grandparents. A few times a year, Grandma and Grandpa pick us up and take us on a fun adventure. We never know where we'll go - sometimes it's an amusement park, a museum, the zoo or even just a scenic drive somewhere new. Grandma and Grandpa have an awesome camper van that's perfect for road trips. It's like a little house on wheels with beds, a kitchen, TV, andeverything! We climb inside and Grandpa drives us wherever we want to explore. My sister and I love cuddling up in the backseat and looking out the giant windows at the scenery.Of course on normal days, we kids need to get to school. I'm lucky because my elementary school is just a few blocks away so I can walk, skip or bike there. My dad got me the coolest electric scooter for my last birthday, painted in my favorite shades of red and black. It has an electric engine that zooms me along the sidewalk at 10mph! I love scooting to school with the wind whipping through my hair. My little sister isn't old enough for an electric scooter yet, so she still gets pushed to her preschool in a stroller by our nanny. She'll be big enough to walk or kick-scoot soon.I guess I come from an on-the-go family! We have so many different ways to travel - by car, plane, camper, bike, scooter, you name it. Every mode of transit is fun and takes us somewhere new to explore. I'm grateful my family keeps moving and gets to experience awesome adventures together. Who knows where we'll go next? All I know is no matter how we get there, it's sure to be an exciting ride!篇3My Big Family and How We Get AroundHi there! I'm going to tell you all about my huge family and the different ways we travel from place to place. We are a super duper big family with lots of people, so it's always an adventure when we go somewhere together!First up, there's my mom and dad. They like to drive everywhere in our trusty minivan. My dad is a very careful driver and always follows all the rules of the road. He says things like "Indicators on!" and "Both hands on the wheel at 10 and 2!" My mom is a little more relaxed behind the wheel. Sometimes she eats french fries while driving, but Don't tell dad!Next, we have my grandparents on my mom's side - Grandma Rose and Grandpa Mike. They don't drive anymore because they are pretty old. Instead, they take public transportation like buses and trains. Grandpa Mike has this cool pass that lets him ride for free! He always holds the train doors for people and gives up his seat for pregnant ladies. Grandma Rose brings snacks on the bus just in case she gets hungry during the ride. I think she forgets she's not driving! Now for my grandparents on my dad's side - Grandma Lily and Grandpa Chuck. Well, Grandma Lily still drives but Grandpa Chuck doesn't like her driving. He says she's a "lead foot" whichmeans she goes too fast. So usually they take an Uber or a taxi. I think it's because Grandpa Chuck is kinda grumpy and doesn't want to walk very far. Getting picked up at the door is more his style these days.My aunts and uncles have some different ways of getting around too. Aunt Megan is really athletic so she loves riding her bicycle everywhere. She has a funny looking helmet and wears crazy bright clothes so cars can see her. Uncle Robbie takes the subway to work each day. He says it's better for the environment than driving. Aunt Grace has to travel a lot for her job, so she is always flying on airplanes to different cities. We don't see her as much as the other aunts and uncles. And I can't forget about my million cousins! Just kidding, I only have 8 cousins but it sure feels like a million sometimes. The younger cousins just get rides from their mom and dads, but my older cousins have their own ways of going places. Cousin Emma has an electric scooter that she rides around campus at college. Cousin Ryan took the bus when he was in high school. Now that he's older, he borrows his parents' car sometimes. As for me, I usually just walk places that are close by like school, the park, or a friend's house. Mom and dad don't let me go too far by myself yet since I'm only 10 years old. For longertrips, we all pile into the minivan together as a family. It's a tight squeeze with all of us in there!Someday, I'll be old enough to start getting around on my own more. I can't wait to learn how to ride a bicycle, take the city bus, or maybe even get a scooter like Emma. Maybe I'll be a subway pro like Uncle Robbie or a public transit private eye like Grandpa Mike! Or maybe I'll just stick to my own two feet and walk everywhere. As long as I get to go on adventures and spend time with my huge, crazy family, I'll be happy no matter how we all travel. The journey is half the fun when you're with the people you love!篇4My Big Family and How We Get AroundHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about my huge family and the different ways we travel from place to place. We're a big, crazy bunch with lots of people to keep track of. Getting everyone where they need to go is always an adventure!Let me start by introducing my parents. My dad's name is Robert and my mom is Jessica. Dad works downtown at a big office building. Every morning, he hops in his car and driveshimself to work. His car is pretty old and makes a lot of clanking noises, but he says as long as it keeps running he's not getting a new one. Mom is a teacher at the elementary school just a few blocks away. She lives close enough that she can walk to work, which she does every day unless it's raining or snowing. Then she takes the bus.I have two younger sisters named Emma and Sophia. They're twins and just started kindergarten this year. Every morning, Dad puts them in the backseat and drives them to school on his way to work. In the afternoon, Mom picks them up when the school day ends. Emma and Sophia each have a child safety seat in Dad's car with their names written on them in permanent marker. That way there's no fighting over whose seat is whose! Then there's my big brother Michael. He's 16 and just got his driver's license a few months ago. Michael saved up money from his part-time job at the grocery store and bought himself an old pickup truck. It's a real junker, but he loves that thing! Most days, he drives himself to school. Sometimes if I'm running late, he'll give me a ride too. I'm not sure the truck will make it much longer though. It breaks down at least once a week!My uncle David lives with us too. Uncle David is Mom's younger brother. He moved in after losing his job last year whenthe factory where he worked closed down. Uncle David doesn't have a car, so he either walks everywhere or takes the bus. Once or twice a week, Mom drops him off at the unemployment office when she's on her way to work. He's still looking hard for a new job.Want to hear something funny? My grandma doesn't drive at all! Grandma Sue is 83 years old and her eyesight isn't good enough anymore to get behind the wheel. But she still likes to get out and about as much as she can. A few times a week, either Dad or one of my aunts will come pick her up and take her wherever she needs to go - the grocery store, church, her weekly bingo game. The rest of the time, Grandma walks around the neighborhood as her exercise. She says she's walked just about every street within five miles of our house!Grandpa Jim still drives, but he really shouldn't. He's 87 and his driving scared me half to death the last time I rode with him! Grandpa soldiered through World War II but couldn't fight his way through a busy intersection to save his life nowadays. Mom and Dad are always trying to convince Grandpa to give up the keys, but he refuses to stop driving. I guess some old habits just really die hard.Aunt Karen is my dad's sister. She's married to Uncle Paul and they have four kids - my cousins Zach, Ryan, Megan, and Carly. Poor Aunt Karen is always driving that big 12-passenger van back and forth, back and forth, trying to get everyone to all their different activities. Zach and Ryan play on competing baseball teams. Megan has dance classes three nights a week. Carly is the youngest at 6 years old, and she just started taking gymnastics lessons. Then there's hockey practice, piano lessons, doctor appointments...with a family that size, it's a miracle if Aunt Karen makes it through a day without forgetting someone somewhere!Speaking of big families, you should see my cousins on Mom's side when we all get together for birthdays and holidays! Aunt Lisa has 5 kids, Uncle Mark has 4, Aunt Grace has 3, and then there's my cousin Brittany who already has 2 kids of her own. It's like a whole kindergarten class rolled into one family! We've been know to take over an entire section of a restaurant whenever we go out to eat. I feel bad for any waiters who have to take our order. Just writing down everyone's names is ahalf-hour task!So how do we get that whole crazy crew moved from place to place when we're all together? It's like organizing a minimilitary operation, I tell you! The cousins usually pile into whatever van or SUV is biggest - last time it was Uncle Mark's Suburban. Some of the teenage cousins who can drive take their own cars too. The adults all desperately call around between each other to see who has a friend with a van or truck they can borrow from to use as an extra vehicle. Grandparents, aunts, uncles - we get as many rides as humanly possible. Then it's like a line of moving vans headed out on a road trip! No matter where we're going, we always end up being fashionably late. But hey, at least we get there together eventually!Well, I think that's just about everyone in my massive, crazy family and how we manage to get around town. Keeping track of who goes where and how they're getting there is a job in itself! I didn't even mention our pets - Samson the dog, Mittens the cat, and Polly the parrot. Let's just say it's a good thing we don't have to worry about finding them rides too. Though I guess we could always strap a leash on Samson and let him start pulling a doggy carriage around for us. Weirder things have happened in the Carter family!Anyway, thanks for listening to me blab about my relatives for 2000 words. I'll leave you with this - the next time your mom or dad complains about hauling you and your siblings places, just remind them how much crazier it could be! At our house, it's not if we'll end up circling the block a few times before we can leave...it's just a matter of how many times. That's life in a huge family for you! We may get places late, but we have a whole lot of fun and make a whole lot of memories along the way. I can't imagine it any other way!篇5My Big Family and How We Get AroundHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about my huge family and the ways we travel from place to place. We've got a lot of people in my family so it's never boring!First up is my mom and dad. My mom's name is Susan and my dad is Robert. For getting around town, my mom drives our green mini-van. She uses it to drop me and my siblings off at school, go grocery shopping, and run whatever other errands she needs to do that day. My dad works at an office downtown, so he commutes by train every day. He parks his car at the station near our house and takes the 7:32 am train into the city. In the evenings he comes home on the 6:05 pm train. Riding the train is cheap for him since his job helps pay for a transit pass.Next are my grandparents on my mom's side - Grandma Rose and Grandpa Frank. They're both retired now. Grandma can still drive herself around in her old blue sedan, but Grandpa's eyesight isn't so good anymore. Sometimes Grandma will drop him off to meet his friends for their weekly card game. Other times I'll ride along and we'll take the senior citizen shuttle bus from the community center. It's a door-to-door service just for older folks in our neighborhood. My uncle Marco lives next door with his wife Aparna and their three kids - Raj, Sonia, and Little Mico. Uncle Marco walks to his job at the grocery store near our house. Aunt Aparna pushes a stroller to drop Mico off at daycare and then takes the city bus to her job as a nurse at the hospital. The big kids, Raj and Sonia, ride the school bus with me and my siblings in the morning and afternoon.Across town lives my other set of grandparents - Grandma Fatima and Grandpa Khalil. Even though they're getting up there in age, they still bike almost everywhere! They have these awesome electric bikes that can go really fast. Sometimes I'll join them for a pedal and we'll cruise all over the neighborhood. They keep their bikes tuned up and their tires filled up at the local bike shop.My aunts Zahra and Leila are both in college, so they live in apartments near campus. To get to class, they like to take advantage of the city's bike share program. There are rows of rent-a-bikes all over that you can just drop off whenever you get to your stop. My cousin Imran is a freshman in high school and he's in a school farther away, so he has to take the city bus every day to get there and back. Finally, there's my crazy uncle Edoardo who lives a few hours away. He's a total free spirit and travels ALL the time for his job as a freelance photographer. Most of the time he's driving his old camper van to national parks and hiking trails to take pictures of nature scenes. A few times a year he'll jet off on an airplane to some faraway location like Costa Rica or Nepal for a few months at a time. He says his camper van has racked up more miles than some space shuttles!Phew, that's my giant family! As you can see, we've got a million different ways to get around. Vans, sedans, bikes, buses, trains, shuttles, and way more. Heck, my uncle Edoardo doesn't even stay in one place for long! I'll have to get back to you on how my new baby cousin gets around once she's born. Maybe she'll be the first one in a stroller rocket ship or something!篇6My Big Happy Family and How We Get AroundHi! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about my family and the ways we travel. We are a big family with lots of people, and everyone has their own way of getting places. It's pretty cool!First, there's my dad. He loves driving and has a really neat car - a red sports car that can go super fast! He uses it to drive to his office in the city every day. The drive takes him about an hour because of traffic. Sometimes I get to ride along and it feels like I'm in a racecar, zipping past all the other cars on the road. My dad's car is his favorite way to travel. Then there's my mom. She mostly sticks close to home, but when she does need to go somewhere, she likes taking the bus. Our city has great bus routes that can get you just about anywhere. My mom takes the bus to run errands, go shopping, or visit friends and family nearby. I don't mind riding the bus - you get to look out the window and see lots going on around town. Plus, no getting stuck in bad traffic like Dad!My older brother Jason is 18 and just started college last year. He lives in a dorm pretty far away, so he has to take the train to get home and visit us on breaks. Riding the train is awesome! You get to watch the countryside whizzing by and seeso much cool stuff out the windows. Jason says it's an easy way to travel without having to worry about driving or flights. Just hop on, zone out with some music or reading, and you're there before you know it. I can't wait until I'm old enough to travel by train!Believe it or not, my little sister Lily, who's 7, is the true adventurer of our family. She gets around by bicycle! Our neighborhood has a lot of kid-friendly bike paths and trails, so it's easy and safe for Lily to pedal around. She wears her helmet and follows all the rules. Sometimes she even bikes to the park or library without Mom or Dad. How cool is that? I'm a little jealous because I'm too little still to ride bikes by myself. Lily loves feeling the wind in her hair and seeing the world from her bicycle seat.As for me, I get around on foot or get pushed in a stroller when my legs get tired. My favorite way to explore is to go for long walks around my neighborhood with Mom, Dad, or one of my siblings. We look at all the houses and gardens, say hi to neighbors, and sometimes stop for a snack or to play at a park. Walking is the best way to see all the little details you'd miss whizzing by in a car. Plus, it keeps me healthy and gives my mom and dad exercise too!My grandparents live a few states away, so when we go visit them, we take a plane. It's my favorite out of everyone's way to travel because you get to soar up in the sky like a bird! The airport is super cool too, with so many big planes taking off and landing. Grandma and Grandpa pick us up at their airport, then we get to see them for a fun week or two. Flying is less adventurous after you land, but I still love it for the amazing experience of leaving the ground. Finally, my aunt and uncle are major outdoor explorers who love hiking and camping far out in nature. When they come to visit from across the country, they sometimes travel by RV! An RV is kind of like a house on wheels that you can drive and even sleep in. They pack up everything they need and just cruise along highways, dirt roads and campgrounds for days or weeks at a time. I haven't gone RVing myself yet, but they always return with the coolest stories and photos of amazing views, wildlife, and starry night skies you can't see in the city.Whew, that's my whole family and their modes of transportation! We've got quite the variety going on between cars, buses, trains, bikes, walking, planes and RVs. I get to experience little tastes of all those different ways to travel around based on who I'm with. Each one is unique and fun in itsown way. Maybe someday I'll get to combine a bunch of them into one big adventure! No matter what, you can be sure my family and I will be out exploring and covering lots of ground by whatever means we can. The journey is half the fun!。
